A motel in this rough of shape shouldn’t be that expensive. Bugs in the room.

This was THE WORST experience I have had a hotel. It started when checking in and the person kept calling me “Jessica” which I’m assuming means trying to check me in under the wrong reservation. Our first room was DISGUSTING (photos included), our second room had bed bugs and broken lamps, then our third room had broken drapes. The stairs to our third room had beer bottles on the landing, and in general the entire place was just broken, gross, or infested.
In the morning one of the front desk staff came to my door super early to “Apologize in person” and explained there is new management and previous management didn’t upkeep the hotel. Clearly.
I have spoken with the general manager and she refused to refund me because I “stayed the length of reservation.” She didn’t even apologize for my experience, and tried to claim the bed bugs were fleas (because I traveled with my dogs.)

this is an older property. not fancy. safe clean and affordable.

I stay here this weekend every year for the Waterfowl Festival. last year was not good due toremodeling. i was expecting a lot more this year but still in that process. No hand towels were ever left in our room. The air condition/heater did not work well. The hanging bar for clothes was held up bu packing tape. The hotel was clean and the beds are comfortable.

The room was spacious but peeling paint on ceiling, peeling inside shade on lamp, unpainted repairs in bathroom left a messy feeling. On highway so noise should have been expected but it is noisy. Was put in a handicapped room (not requested) and so did not feel right in parking in the space outside my door, moved my car farther out. Staff, though, were VERY friendly. I was concerned about getting out of parking lot going east rather than west on 50 but it proved to be no problem.

We are traveling with our dog and we had an excellent time. Place was so clean, breakfast good, and endless coffee and tea all day.

I appreciate an Honest review, I believe most people want to know the truth. This hotel should honestly be taken off of Travelocities website. The hotel is unsafe! We booked one night and we were told that the Website over booked them and that they would not be honoring the reservation for a king size room. the did however offer us 2 double bed room. The lobby is smelly and old, but that wasn't even the worse part. Our room was old and it looked as though they were starting to remodel but stopped in the middle. The tub/shower was moldy and tub was peeling. The smell in the room was so strong, maybe bug spray or something like a cleaner not really sure, but we could hardly breath!!!! the ceiling was wavy and looked like it was about to fall in. Maybe the smell was possible MOLD?
I could find an outlet to plug my phone in so I pulled out the night stand and found something indescribable a pile of jelly like substance under there. Please don't take your Loved ones to this hotel!

Hotel is grossly under staffed. Booked 2 rooms. One was not ready after it was assigned and we went to it. Furnishings are shabby & unclean. Some furnishings missing. TV' was not working correctly. Odd smells in room. Musty damp feeling. Holes in the walls. Fire alarm box broken. No soda/water machines or available. We left 1 hour after checking in. A total waste of time and money.

This hotel was very clean with a few updates. Staff was terrific and the breakfast was outstanding.

As other reviews have noted, it looks like they are renovating. No closets to hang clothes, no shelves or bar to hang wet towels. Unpainted areas of spackle on the walls where they removed the old fixtures. Vinyl flooring, no carpeting. Also this is a motel not a hotel, no interior rooms, so be aware that you have to walk outside to get to lobby and breakfast. Also downside of the motel style is it is noisy with cars coming and going, bright with headlights and street lights, and people are constantly walking past the window. On our second night a group of guests from two doors down were loudly partying outside in front of their open room at 1:45am and kept it up for two hours. Overall the property has a run-down motel feel so it's not surprising that some guests treat it that way.

Room was not ready when I arrived. When finally ready, the room had a very strong smell of deodorizer/air freshener/cleaning solution.

We did not get the king room reserved because it was a handicap room and I was not going to take that when a handicapped person might have needed it. The room we were given had a ceiling that was flaking and falling in, no towel racks, and patched walls. The bathroom door could not be closed or opened if the toilet seat was down. The room would never have passed a health inspection.

The mattress in my room sunk down, but the sheets were great quality. There were ants in my room. The bathroom wall needed paint to cover large spackled areas. Why are there only 3 chairs around the pool? That’s ridiculous.

We're stayed here before and it was good. This time the pool was very dirty. Also the room was not maintained very well. The paint is peeling off the walls and the tub was disgusting.

It’s convenient. We have stayed here for the past several years. We did not have a coffee maker in the room nor was the pool available. It was padlocked & I had to ask the front desk staff what was up. A sign posted on the pool would have been helpful. Maybe an explanation when one checked in would have helped also.

Third room is the charm... sort of... That poor front desk person... covering YOUR mistakes! AND really trying to make it right. Classic example of setting her (and your guests) up for... a less than exceptional- or even decent customer experience. We were checked into a room that had been cleaned for daily service. NOT a clean room for new guests! Dirty bathroom, used toiletries, no vacuum, and somebody other than us used the sheets last... yuck. Ended up in a decent enough room- but for $200 night, and 30 minutes of room jenga- not good. Suggestions from someone in the industry... TRAIN and hold housekeeping accountable. OWNERS- give a care about the guest experience- you bought the place and you want to fix it, then - sell it, right? That person at the desk is an hourly employee (so were the last few, in that role, right...)? They are not married to this stressful experience. Stop making excuses for them leaving and give them a reason to stay! One General Manager = one Hotel- yea! It's pretty obvious you have a multi site management model....it is not working! Get an Executive level housekeeper that can hold it together. Is it hard? Yep. Go do it... stop making excused. You have only a couple months to make your year and the time has passed! How many will come back next visit? Last thought- Your desk guy at the desk in the morning asked us all sorts of questions-nice, but not one about our stay? He knows...it's bad and he's smart enough to not ask...
