I needed a place to lay my head for a night as I was doing some sightseeing in DC and then leave relatively early in the morning. This served that purpose. The staff was friend. Breakfast was plentiful (with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt). The hotel is run down with lots of tile broken in the elevators. I had room 214 and noise from the dryer across the way could be heard. The upside is that is also where the ice is. The bed was comfortable and the toiletries were nice.

Met needs of trip and friendly staff during our interactions. Will keep on my list of places to stay when travelling near DC.
Side note, metro a short 2 min drive down the road and the easy on-off to interstate is a plus.

I booked this hotel by hotel.com for a room with two queen beds and my service dog. when I got to the hotel at 11 pm the hotel gave me a suitable room with one king bed open to the bed. I explained to the shift manager that we were 3 adults and a kid 17 years old. and need two beds. She was so rude and told me to take the room with her. Cancel my reservation. Also, she told me that I didn't tell her we have a pet. I explained to her that, was not a pet and that I had all the certifications for service dogs. in the end, she cancels my reservation. We book a new hotel in a better place.
Also, be aware this hotel charged an extra $130 I didn't understand what was that.

It was a great stay with our 2 cats. We had an extra bathroom that we were able to set up for the cats. It was very affordable and close to the capital.

One elevator was broken.
The location is a bit awkward, though, as you can walk to the Van Dorn Metro station but there are no safe ways to get there without having to cross a busy street in front of the hotel. There are no sidewalks or crosswalks around.

The hotel was clean and quiet for the most part. A large group of young people came in and were very loud when they came in but I never heard them again. I was very worried I would not like my stay when they arrived because of how loud they were. Thank goodness they didn't effect my stay at all. The room was clean. There was some peeling paint in the bathroom but that is not a housekeeping issue. The breakfast area was kept stocked and cleaned as well. The coffee and water area was also kept cleaned while I was there.

I decided to give it a shot because the reviews were good and I needed a pit stop for a road trip with the fam.
I hate to complain but I would not at all recommend the establishment. Here my reasons:
- Lobby is small, dingy and despite the signs it smells like an ashtray.
- Front desk attendant looks depressed like she hates her job.
- The elevators are filthy, in poor condition and smelly.
- The room is alright but kind of silly (and dingy). I got a “suite” thinking I would order Uber Eats for the family but there was no table. Both the tile floor and carpeting have many stains. Beds were alright.
- Bathroom didn’t feel clean (we skipped showers to avoid fungus), toilet seat broken, forget “clean-seal”. Toilet paper roll was almost finished and holder was broken. I guess a clean roll is too much.
- Several patrons were plain trashy. The best was a guy cursing and screaming at his phone in the lobby and elevators. He brought the fight on my floor screaming profanities at a woman staying down the hall. Nice entertainment for my 7yo twins.
-Breakfast. Omg. It’s like a jail cafeteria. No tables available, and super dirty. Gross food and coffee smells bad. Attendant looks like a homeless guy asking for change. Looks so filthy and handles garbage and food items continuously without washing his hands. Why??
And I don’t want to sound like a dick but people who work in service should have a certain composure.
Anyways. Not recommended.

We could use hotter water in the shower. It is just warm. Everything is clean in the room, some of the fixtures can be update or repair in the bathroom. Like the fact they have EV charger.

The staff was just amazing and helpful. I got the pleasure of speaking with the operations manager, I think maybe her name was Michelle? but she introduced herself as the ops manager so I know for sure that is right. The breakfast was incredible- so much value for the price of the hotel. If I had any complaint is that there weren't any restaurants within walking distance. I know about Uber Eats and GrubHub but we wanted to go out.

Okay hotel for a short stay. Room had weird smell, might have previously been a smoking room before it was converted to a nonsmoking room. Bed was worn out. Room was clean but lobby wasn’t. Staff was friendly.

My problem is with the hotel. It's with hotels .com said the price was 120.00 something and I got charged 146.00. that is a lot of tax I guess. I could say more but I'll leave it with I hope you don't have to stay in Alexandria VA

The location was great as far as going to DC or to The Waterfront in Old Alexandrea. It is a dog friendly hotel so we took our dogs. There was a good location for the dogs to go potty. That was a little difficult. Also, two different cars on different nights had all wheels and tires taken. Thank god we were not.one of those cars.

The hotel is off I-95 and it’s good because of that but it’s also a big problem. Heavy traffic and lots off noises thru out the night.

I stayed one night while visiting family in the area. My room was very clean, but small. Walls are fairly thin -- I could hear others watching TV and traffic outside. My biggest complaint was that there was a show about unsolved murders on TV in the lobby at checkout at 8:30 in the morning. I could have done without a gruesome audio description of a murder to start my day. Maybe choose a different program to play in the lobby during morning checkout hours?

One of the selling points for this hotel are the electric car chargers available to guests. It was a lifesaver with my rental! Other than that, the room was cozy, but a little small with a tiny television even though it was considered "upgraded" with the trim. The breakfast was okay, but the meat was burnt most of the time and the eggs powdery. The location was great, though, so overall not a bad stay for a few days.

Besides the convenience to the highway, this place was dated, dirty, and the shades/curtain did not close in the room. the parking lot lights were shining in the window all night. Do not recommend.

Super friendly staff and clean room. Located right off the highway and in close driving distance from a metro stop. I got in late and left very early so I didn't spend much time there or have breakfast, but overall it was convenient and clean.
