Clean and a convenient location. Only about 1.5 miles from the square, shopping and beach.

Our stay at Rodeway Inn at St Joseph MI was wonderful. Clean room, friendly staff. We always love seeing the improvements from last time we stayed. They are always working on being better.

I think this place was the old St Joe Inn many years ago. It's simply furnished but the beds are super comfortable, the linens look new, and the room is appointed with refrigerator microwave and coffee maker. It's a decent size room too. I like that the windows can slide open which I prefer at night over air conditioning. Looks like a nice pool outside but it was closed for the season. Perfect place for the price. Close to downtown St Joe and walkable to several places. No free breakfast but didn't really matter.

The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs. The location is great and the nearby neighborhood is very walkable and cute.

Room smelled terrible, musty, and dirty. Pillows were old and worn out. Couldn't wait to leave. We were given paper sacks for breakfast that contained juice boxes, muffins, and breakfast bars, which is a nightmare for a diabetic.

I couldn't relate the photos of the room to the actual situation, so much so that before I wrote the review, I wondered if I actually staied in this place. The room was small and the chairs and couch were dirty. I didn't see the breakfast area in the photos as she directly gave me three paper bags with bread cake for our breakfast. I have to say that the front desk room is neatly furnished and enshrines Buddha statues.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, I’d stay there again.

Hotel was in good condition and room was nice at a good price. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Beds were a little stiff but overall everything else was worth the stay!

Rooms were equipped with microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, new mattresses, clean fresh linens, almost new air-conditioning units, nice parking area right outside the rooms, friendly helpful staff, great price, and super value for the money!

This was a lot better then expected.

I enjoy staying here. It’s convenient reasonable and the staff is kind and accommodating. It’s my #1 go to when visiting St Joe.

Everything was really good!

My guests, that were going to stay here, couldn't come due to illness. I called the hotel when I was made aware, on the check-in date. They refused to cancel my reservation. They refused to make any allowance. The terms stated that cancelations & no-show would be charged ONE NIGHT'S stay. I was willing to pay that. The 2nd day of Reservation, they billed me for 3 nights & refused to work with me. Mr Patel blamed Expedia. Expedia said it was up to the hotel. Mr Patel could not show me any terms stating I would be responsible for the cost of all 3 nights. Reservation was 7/2-7/5. I called the hotel the evening of 7/2. I called Expedia on 7/3. They contacted Mr Patel and he refused to refund any of the 3 nights. I went to hotel on 7/3 to speak to him in person. I asked him to please give me a break on the charges. Every time I asked a question, or requested written terms, he said "maam, you are not listening to me . . ." Eventually, he called me a "mot*er f*cker" stepped from behind the counter and shouted "get out of here, I don’t want to argue, I'll call the police." I told him to "please call the police." Then, he started ranting and yelling in my face. If this is how he treats a potential customer that he has scammed for over $300, imagine if you had a problem while staying there! I called Expedia after I left. They were no help, because the hotel had to issue the credit. Expedia called them again & they still refused to credit any of the 3 nights that NOBODY stayed there.

The management was wonderful and gracious...they get an A for their effort. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom / toilet was below quality, because every time we flushed it made a huge and very disturbing noise. Floors were filthy...we all had to wash our feet and then wear socks.

Excellent staff and service. They are kind people and do everything they can to make sure their guests have a great experience. We will keep coming back!

If I could put 0 star I would this hotel is horrible. Rooms are filthy dirty, sheets have blood and urine on them they also have hair and other stains that look like semen on the sheets. The pillow cases have black spots and dust on them like they never been washed. The walls and doors have never been wiped down they have stuff running down them. The headboard has dust falling of them. The lady at the front desk tried to put me in 2 different rooms they were both the same very dirty and stunk. They advertise they have breakfast and they do not have breakfast. The property needs to be shut down. My reservation was done by a third party hotel service and they refuse to give me my money back because they said they talked to a man at the hotel and he said he was the owner and he refused to give me my money back because he said I wanted a free night kinda funny there was no man there it was only a woman. I would not go here if it was the last place to stay I would sleep in a dumpster

Great location for activities near Lake Michigan. Clean room with all the basics. Two waters given at check-in, staff was very nice. However, hotel staff was not present in the front office during the times we needed them (to report a sub-par toilet and to get more coffee for the coffee pot), or when checking out - everything was locked and you had to drop the keys into the box.

Shower wasn't great, actual address in Hotels.com sent us to the wrong place, had to call to find out where it was. Room made a lot of noise, pipes?

It was a very clean place, looked very well and very comfortable for relaxing after a long trip

AJ was absolutely fantastic. He was prompt and courteous and took care of whatever needed to be done.

Shady looking place. Ended up going somewhere else.

Clean , close to beach and downtown

When we arrived to check in at 9pm. Our room wasn't ready, it needed to be cleaned really quick. Which makes me wonder if this hotel doesn't rent rooms by the hour? Room was pretty dusty, smelled strongly of mildew and mold and the shower curtain was broken and the tub didn't drain. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here with a family, pretty sketchy.

Close to beach

The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures anymore — it looks much better! Painted bright white and blue. You can tell the owners have been working hard to update the property. All staff were friendly and nice, check-in and checkout were a breeze, and the rooms were simple and clean. Convenient location and great price.
