I enjoyed staying walking distance from the beach. The location was perfect . I’m not a huge fan of fabulous as it was heavy in the room. And if you don’t check out right at 8 am they ate walking in the room without knocking. Literally unblocking the door and walking in , even tho 10 am is check out time. They done this 3 x’s before 10 AM.

I've already left a review just a few days after I checked in. I stayed for 8 days although I was disappointed with several little things and one big thing.

My wife and I checked in Friday afternoon for our 2 night stay. We went to dinner and during dinner got a call that our daughter had to go to the hospital. I informed beacon that we were needing to cancel our second night due to our daughter having to go to the hospital. But since I booked through hotels.com they said I had to cancel through them also. That alone was a pain to reach an actual person. But when I did finally they said they would have to call the hotel to get approval for a refund. It could take 72 hours. They finally got back to me and said that beacon has refused to do any refund. I get there are refund policy’s and all but there is also life and not all things can be controlled. In this situation I have as much notice as humanly possible a little over 24 hrs. It we were not staying a night longer than we had to due to our daughter and possible flights.

Hairballs and trash in halls and stairways was rather unpleasant.
Staff was very courteous.
Loved that Beacon offers a breakfast buffet.

the hotel is very clean, the staff is very polite and attentive, the breakfast is quite decent. Remember that you are on the hottest street in Miami, in the center of it, so you may hear at some point some noises coming from parties close to the hotel.

Great location! So the hotel management doesn’t care about service. Very basic amenities, no space in the room for luggage, breakfast so-so. . Overpriced!
Nothing promised upon booking ( VIP access for gold member).
But Ocean drive is the best place in Miami Beach, so we excused all the inconveniences.

Second time we've stayed here before going on our cruise. Wonderul hotel, walking distance to many restaurants, parks, next door to CVS. Beach directly across the street. Excellent service! Free breakcast included with stay, good food. Will return in the future any time we port out of Miami.

The bathroom was tiny and not clean. The drain for the tub was tossed to the side. No space really to put your toiletries. Nowhere to hang your clothes but a half of a rod. Toilet paper had to always be requested they didn’t put an extra one. The room 407 was out dated.

Our stay was a mixed bag. We knew what we were getting into to some extent, but there was a lot of deferred maintenance in this property …lots of old damaged furniture, poorly trained staff , paint splatters on floor and bathroom, no working phone , internet or mini fridge. For $350 a night I had higher expectations but any Hampton Inn , Holiday Inn Express etc would have been a better value . Yes the Art Deco charm was great, the breakfast was pretty good and restaurant staff was good. However the staff needs a bit of training. Yes location was stellar but a “shrug of the shoulders “is not a valid way to handle multiple complaints. Having a working phone , internet and fridge Is not a huge ask. The AM manager was convivial and addressed my concerns. Location was spot upon and with a refresh this place could be a contender!

we stayed int the accessible room which was a large size but could use a chair and a little decor. Great location and service. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was wonderful!

We had a very nice stay along Miami Beach. The room was comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious. The lobby, decor, and room were all amazing. Good wifi. The inputs for the TV are in the back not the side, and the TV is attached to the wall, so we could not plug in devices to watch our shows. Also we could clearly hear things in the room next door and above. Those were the two negatives, but otherwise a great stay, I would stay here again.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in. It's extremely outdated.
Broken refrigerator. Elevator was out of service. dirty shower head. Clearly this is not a 3 star hotel.

Great service. First time in my life I got upgraded. I got the room with view on the ocean. It was easy to borrow the bicycles. Nice girl from the Italy at the reception.

I will stay again. The staff work above and beyond specially Nesrime(receptionist) was very attentive to detail and professional. Maria restaurant hostess always greeted me very warmly , bell boys were just exceptional. One is Francisco and other guy working in evening provides excellent service despite the business of workload. So as waiters and bartender. Excellent location just across from beach and many restaurants and shops CVS 24 hrs next door. I enjoyed ocean view and Art deco architecture of hotel. Old world feeling

Lovely boutique hotel right across the street from the beach. I loved being able to walk over, lay out and relax. Lots of shopping nearby and restaurants galore.
There is a lot of police patrolling the area so I felt safe from crime unlike other areas in Miami. The hotel staff was so very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The only critique is in the morning it would be nice to play calmer music during breakfast. It's in the middle of the action so they do play music like many of the hotel and restaurants do.

Excellent location. The elevator doesn't work but the staff was friendly to help. And honestly even though we were on the top floor the stairs didn't bother us that much. Room is decorated nicely. There is no parking on the property. We had to pay 30$ for the parking garage but it was very close.

Where do I begin. I feel like we were bait and switched the pictures do not reflect the condition of the property which is poor. A flipper would have been embarrassed by the room renovation. The hall carpets were dingy, the gym looked like a storage area for exercise equipment and the elevator broke down and we were on the 5th floor. Great location, outside was excellent example of Art Deco all the more reason we were disappointed with the interior. Staff was friendly and helpful but unless some major upgrades are done I would not recommend.

The picture on the website needs to be updated. This hotel is old needs to be updated. When you walk in towards your rooms you feel you're in some poor neighborhood. Definately not worth the pay. The only good thing about it is that it sits on Ocean Drive. The elevator is super tiny.

Abit dated, we got a king rm and it was much smaller then expected. Nice location, and the restaurant was very nice, but it seemed like the property was more about appearance then actually quality.
