Room was miserable to sleep in. 3 tiny pillows for a king bed and the room was 77-80° all night long. I asked the front desk about the ac being broke and was told they disable it in the winter. Microwave was rusted and dirty and missing parts. Room otherwise was clean and the downstairs cafe was decent. They seem to only have one receptionist on duty at a time so multiple long waits to be helped.

This place is a dump. Drug addicts, Prostitutes and homeless everywhere. Not dirty, filthy disgusting. Road noise made ear plugs necessary to sleep. Roaches in the room. Air conditioning unit in room sounded like a jet engine, Changed rooms three times to find one that was quiet enough to sleep in. Only positive was the front desk clerk. That was very helpful with my displeasure. But ultimately things were out of his control regarding the conditions. Do not stay here under any Circumstances.

We were extremely disappointed in this stay. It was our first time, and we will not go back or recommend the Ramada Inn in National City. My friend traveling with me woke up with at least a dozen small bites on her arms and neck. We submitted a bed bug incident report through the manager Reggie, but we have not heard from Ramada Inn since. Other problems at the hotel were broken treadmills in the fitness room and a broken climate control system in the whole building. We turned off the room thermostat, but it still was so hot that we didn't sleep well. The inside temperature was at least 15 degrees warmer than outside, so we frequently opened the door and window for fresh air. Also, on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, there was reduced housekeeping and the restaurant/room service was closed. The hotel did not warn us about any of this either when we made the reservation or checked in. We would have reconsidered other options if we knew. One reason we chose this location over others was because it appeared to be close to the public trolley stop. When we arrived, we found out that the walk to the trolley is an unsafe area that many locals won't walk. We paid for more Uber and Lyft rides than we had planned to avoid walking in the area after dark. If you do bring a car, the hotel will charge a daily fee to use their parking lot. Another reason we chose this hotel were the photos of a billiard table, which they do not have. The photos are inaccurate.

The fact that they now require you to pay for parking. Parking should be free for a mid level suburban hotel.

Got see navy boats. Was on 10 floor. But no air/heat was working. Bed was hard, for 1 night. Shower was not great. But i did work. Thing you need to know; $250.00 hold on credit card, parking not free, $19.00 a night. Breakfast not free. $20 a person and taxes on top. So over you paying $500.00 one 1 night. Not in a Hilton, but not great model. Not sure we want to be back, got check out 11:59am. Haha!

First off, the staff was nice and helpful. That said, this hotel is a dirty dump. Staff admitted bookings were low and staff was limited as a result. Prostitutes on every corner. Dirty floors (our feet were black) broken coffee machine, no blankets on beds. Food offering in lobby limited. Loud noise outside. Awful place to stay unless you are really on a budget.

We arrived there early but the front desk girl let us check in first,very nice.The bed is comfortable.

First room they gave us smelled like Marijuana. Second room was a bit better but the bathroom was dirty. Noisy and some women standing outside of the hotel "working".

The hotel looks out over the Navy Yard which was nice to see

Customer service at the front desk in the Sunday morning appeared to lack knowledge of hotel rules. She said I would receive a call back to resolve my issue, and that call never arrived.

Staff was very sweet. The cleaning person took our dirty towels but didn’t replace them. Very loud environment. Towels and bedding had stains.

Hotel was alright. As described. View of the bay was nice. Only a few things that were undesirable, but wasn't terrible. Had to pay nightly for parking. Which, its CA, so that common, but would have been nice if it was just included in the price of the room or at least notified before booking. Also, a strict check in at 3pm. There was a line out of the door. Whats the problem if people check in 10 min before? You should know if the room is ready or not. Lastly, there were a few roaches that came up from the shower drain. Probably just a big city problem. However for the price point, it was a good stay.

Not the best place to stay with your family, especially when their heater was out of service and didn’t do anything about it.

Check in was terrible. Only two agents and over 15 people in line. However, the room was very clean, updated and the mattress comfortable. Great location to get around San Diego

There is no parking built in into the price, just need to be mindful of that.

Like location Did not like seeing prostitutes walking next door to entrance

Great stay! Close to Petco Park. The beds are so comfortable. Friendly staff. Would stay there again.
