We stayed there on three separate weekends. The first two rooms we had was just fine. That was 301 and 601. However the third room, # 307 had the tiniest bathroom which made it very difficult to move around in.

My stay at Athens Gate was great. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Acropolis. The beds were super comfortable. The hotel was really nice and the rooftop restaurant was excellent.

Location was incredibly central! Walk to Acropolis, metro, gardens, bike tours, and
Restaurants! And when you get off the elevators on the 8th floor, early evening, you turn to the left and WOW, it hits you! The breathtaking view of the Acropolis all lit up, high up on the rock! Just incredible. We spent our evenings there having appetizers and drinks. It was the best spot in town!
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and neat. I would definitely stay here again!

Athens gate hotel was an excellent place to stay for an Athens visit. The location is very close to the Parliament, The Acropolis , and Hadriens.Gate. Rooftop restaurant has a magnificent view of the Acropolis. Service was superb, especially front desk. Full complimentary breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend! Picture from rooftoop restaurant.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We checked out very early and the even packed a breakfast for us. The hotel is right in the middle of a fantastic neighborhood.

It is my favorite hotel in the whole city…with a beautiful view from the terrace, great service, and the best part is the Location! Wow! This was our last hotel at the end of a 5 month trip, and we saved the best hotel till last. We had a room on the 6th floor looking out over the temple of zeus. It was fabulous, lying in bed with a cup of tea watching the sun come up over the ruins is simply incredible. The hotel itself is very good ,excellent breakfast, good well maintained rooms hotel, very friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend coming to athens in January/february - cold crisp days, no queues and easy reservations at the best restaurants.

There is always someone opening the door for you with a smile on his face, the staff is helpful and the restaurant has a wonderful view to the acropolis. Would I recommend ? Yes absolutely

The staff were AMAZING. The food at the rooftop bar will make you struggle to want to eat anywhere else. The view of the Acropolis is absolutely breathtaking. 10/10 would recommend staying here. I will every time I travel here again.

Hotel is close to Acropolis. Amazing view of Acropolis from rooftop. Lots of stores and restaurant around it. Walking distance to most of the attractions. Staff are super nice and hospitable.

Very nice hotel for a good price. The service at the hotel is top notch and the breakfast is awesome. Would stay at Athens Gate if I ever come back. Views of the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus from the hotel is a major highlight.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The location, with its stunning view of the Parthenon, proximity to Plaka, and access to tourist attractions, was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent. The staff, incredibly friendly and professional, went above and beyond. When I had to leave at 3 AM and would miss breakfast, the lady at the desk offered to have it ready before my departure, showcasing great customer service. I highly recommend this place.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. The view was spectacular. We got the rooms on the 7th floor and the room had a view of the Acropolis. We had a large terrace where we could gather in the evening and night and view the Parthenon. The restaurant on the 8th floor was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the main attractions.

The Athens Gate Hotel was great for location. The room was nice, staff was friendly, and things were around for food, night life, and attractions. I’d recommend this place over and over. Food in the restaurant was AMAZING and drinks were strong. Try the Long Island and Shrimp Pasta! View of the Acropolis is spectacular from the restaurant.

Excellent hotel service from all staff. Conveniently located for tourists - near bus stop for hop on hop off bus. Lots of eating places just around the corner. Had beautiful views from the dining room. Room was on 3rd level so a bit noisy from traffic but this was not bothering me. Lost my phone in the hotel communal areas one evening. 0ne housekeeper kindly handed it to reception the following morning.

The hotel is really good and the staff is friendly, the view from the restaurant is wonderful, you can see the Acropolis and the Zeus Temple.
Only bad note is that rooms (I was on the 2nd floor) are really noisy during the night due to the traffic in the street in front of the hotel.
