Serviceable, and affordable, which is mostly what I needed. Conveniently located to where I needed to be. A/C was cold, shower was hot. I would stay there again if I needed a bachelor kind of hotel for a couple days. That said, I would never bring my family to stay here. The whole hotel reeks of weed, the pool is terrible, the continental breakfast is comically bad. The power went out multiple times (that may not have been their fault) Overall 2.5 stars.

The room is old, although the walls are painted, the beds, curtains, furniture, paintings and lamps are very old and in poor condition, the bathroom has a broken sink, black mold on the ceiling and bathtub. It is not a $180 a night hotel in my opinion the price should be $40.

The manager and staff were very friendly.
The location was perfect for our needs as our son lives close by.
The building is older but the management are doing a great job of keeping it clean.
The pool is small but inviting.
The bedding and towels were very clean and white.

Property was still in the past, the breakfast was not breakfast, the room smelled like mold. Everything was old and out dated. That place needs to be redone

This was a late arrival, one night stay for us. Check in was efficient and the gentleman was very polite. The lobby area is a bit spartan but there was a computer station, a brochure rack and ice and vending machines. The breakfast was basic with cold cereals, breads, biscuits, gravy, eggs, juice and coffee. The room was a bit dated but clean with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. We would stay here again.

Bolt lock didn't work which made me feel unsafe. Water constantly dripped in bath. One night someone stayed in hallway and talked until 2am. Told manager and didn't happen again. Wouldn't stay there again.

Entrance door to the room security lock was missing, window curtains would not close completely, check in clerk was not friendly or helpful, housekeeping persons were helpful and courteous

The bedroom area was clean and recently painted. The bathroom was nasty - the area around where the tub joins the shower enclosure was covered with black mold/mildew. The hotel was occupied by only a few other guests - il looks like a ghost town. We thought it was closed when we drove in.

Check in was fine. I was able to get a room overlooking the parking lot as I requested. However the non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. There seemed to be a party in the room next to me. This was a room that joined mine so there was a door in between. I assume the smoke was coming through the cracks in the door. Anyhow the party continued throughout the night. I was awoken around 3am to what sounded like a nightclub in the room next to me. I called the front desk dozens of times with no answer. I ended up having to go downstairs and track down a worked to deal with the noise. This continued to go in for hours. I wouldn’t recommend this place as it seemed like a regular thing.

I went pass the entrance to the motel it needs a sign or something to let you know where to turn in also the grass or lack of was very tall and trying to walk my dog was difficult for him to go to the bathroom as the weeds were so tall other than that it was a nice clean room

The hotel manager put us in a room where the A/C did not work and he knew about it. We had to see itch rooms at approximately 1:30 in the morning. That was very inconvenient.

The furniture in the lobby looks ancient and not well maintained. While walking around the property I noticed several drug transactions in the back parking area in front of the pool area, also I noticed there was a bees nest on the outside roof area with several bees swarming the parking lot area in the front. Definitely discreet location but no one was watching the parking lot area. Unacceptable!!! Please provide security for the property. Disgraceful and tasteless establishment. Please do better!!! ASAP

It's a 7.3/10... Good for the price, nothing fancy, but most importantly you feel safe. If staying 1-2 nights this hotel is fine

VERY outdated rooms and in poor shape. The bed linens and pillows were in terrible condition. There was no deadbolt on the door. I wanted to leave after seeing the room but felt I’d have a tough time finding a new place so late in the day. I have no idea how this place got a 7 star on Expedia.

The property had a guy hanging around asking for money.
The "free" breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. Didn't even have coffee and the orange juice was very watered-down.

A staff member at the Riskin hotel explained to me that I would be able to switch my reservation to the next night and her manager had explain to her that she is not able to which is fine and I have been told by Expedia customer service but I will be receiving a refund, however I have not received it yet nor have had any follow up from the hotel or Expedia. Please follow up with me when you do have a chance. Thank you.

I would give a good smile on our stay here just for one nite. We were just looking for a good budget friendly place to stay overnite. It was not the foiur star feature but what’s important is the friendly staff and a nice cool bed and room to stay.

I believe first impressions are important, maybe not having a young girl in shorts and shirt that were way to short welcoming your guests. Please give the little girl some extra money to buy more appropriate clothing. Even if she does not live, work here or only a customer its a bad first look at your property. The door without the bolt lock was upsetting as well. Good thing we can carry protection in the state.
