Overall an excellent value. Friendly staff. Room was recently renovated, and very spacious with a seating area, small fridge, sink, stovetop and microwave. Our only issue was that the mattress was quite soft, which was difficult for my back.

The only redeeming aspect was the exceptional effort of a new staff member who went above and beyond on her 1st day.
The check-in process was smooth, which initially gave us hope for a pleasant stay. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. A few min after settling into our room, the new girl informed us that our room had been mistakenly rented to another party. By this time, we had already unloaded all our luggage for a long weekend stay.
After being notified of the mix-up, we were assigned a different room located a considerable distance away. We had to load our belongings back into the car and move to the new location. Upon arrival, the newly assigned room was in an appalling state, with dead bugs on the floor, footprints on the sheets, and general debris everywhere, as shown in the attached picture. Unfortunately I did not take more pics.
We had no choice but to move back to the original room where the beds were unmade, and we were unsure if the sheets had been changed. The new staff member (the same girl at the front desk)kindly retrieved fresh sheets from the laundry and made the bed for us. Nonetheless, the room remained dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained, with empty tissue boxes and more.
The condition of the hotel grounds was equally disappointing. The pool was under construction, rendering it unusable, and the outdoor grass was about two feet tall, making the area seem neglected and rundown. The whole place felt more like an old, shabby motel than

We loved the upgrades, the front desk staff were very helpful, professional and very pleasant. We loved sitting at the fire pit and had great drinks made by the very friendly lady bartender! Great experience over all. Will definitely return next year.

Not at all good experience with kids. Things were broken already. Toilet seat, water leaking when taking shower, flush makes such a loud noise, floor not cleaned etc. Needs a lot of improvement. Will not recommend with kids. Location was good. We did not go for swimming so don't know about that.

We were gone from our room from 9 am to 3pm and in that amount of time no one came to bring fresh towels or make the bed. They finally showed up and all the did was dump the garbage.
There should be consideration of putting people with out children in different areas. Running up and down the hallways at midnight was very disruptive to us

We could tell Tiki Resort used to be nice but it’s way past it’s prime. We had to use stairs to bring out luggage to our suite. We found garbage behind an end stand, alarm clock/phone/outlets & general interior of the room is dated and tarnished yellow. The fan in the bathroom is obnoxiously loud. It is in desperate need of a deep clean throughout the premises. The shower was nice. The exercise room should be updated and cleaned. We didn’t want to check out the pools due to the overall lack of cleanliness in the resort.

The place was clean with some nice updates, how ever the TV was horrible bad quality and no cable access just a few local channels. Other than that I would stay again.

We have stayed her several times and have always enjoyed it. Love having the cafe right on property for coffee and breakfast!! Very friendly and helpful staff.
The only downfall is it’s a little bit of a walk into town… but not outrageous by any means.

Quick overnight stay while traveling. Rooms are clean and comfortable but definitely could use some insulation for noise. Conversations being held in rooms on either side were quite vivid and didn’t miss a word.

We had a nice stay and the hotel was average, but ok. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown and the waterfront activities. The pool is older but the water was beautiful and refreshing! We did not eat there so no info there. All in all it was a fun weekend!

It was very clean and service was great location was great. Did not sleepnfor 2 nights because of the couple fist fighting across the hall.

The hotel is fine. It’s a lake George hotel, nothing too fancy, you know what your getting into, but a decent fine place to stay. The kid at the front desk was very short though. Headphones in, no pleasantries. I was trying to check in early since I was going to a concert. He was just short with me and told me 3 o’clock. There was no “let me see what I can do” etc. I know these things can be out of their hands but I just felt brushed off like he didn’t want to deal with me. It was uncomfortable.

Great location, close to restaurants and downtown. The hotel is cute; outdoor pool is nice; indoor pool was warm but cloudy. Room are okay, bathrooms are nicely updated. Definitely recommend

Overall was nice and clean only gripe is getting to the indoor pool was a little of a maze and the bar/food seemed to close pretty early for a weekend but all in all was a nice stay. Also the room I had the sliding doors handle to outside was only held on by one screw but still functional

Service at front desk was terrible. Asked for an early check out on a Monday and was told, they could do 11:30 and then they hang up on me.
Also, the room was filthy with dust on all surfaces and the place just has a very worn down feeling to it.
Lastly, how do you have a tiki bar and close it early on Fri/Sat?

We had read some of the rating’s people gave this place before we got there and my husband and I disagreed with the negative ones. We went there to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed it. The only negative thing I have to say was about one of the front desk staff member seemed as if he doesn’t know how to really greed a new customer. Also as a resort our room didn’t have dishes, pots or utensils since there was a kitchenette.
Other then these minor things, we enjoyed ourselves.
And how can I forget the Indonesian show, we had such a great time.

We liked the hotel overall but had some noisy neighbors connected by an interior door and thin walls... Next time I will ask for a room that doesn't connect. The grounds and pool looked great. The hotel room floors could have been a bit cleaner. Liked the overall lay out of the room with the bifold doors between the room and the changing area with bathroom. I would stay again. Beautiful views.

Great location, walking distance to the lake and shopping. Hotel was clean. Check in was a breeze. My only complaint was the refrigerator leaked and we woke up to a giant puddle in the room. Was going to let them know when I checked out but the young guy there was less than personable

It is a great place to stay is close to everything in the town… but it is a young guy in the front desk not to friendly, you talked to him and he never look at you and sharp answers I thought that job is not for him .

I was impressed with the up-to-date facilities and the option for an indoor pool as well as an outdoor one since the weather wasn’t so great. We did have an ant problem in the bathroom and I asked for someone to come spray which didn’t really help too much so I went out and bought my own spray to keep it under control. Overall, we had a nice stay. The staff at the restaurant were unbelievably kind and respectful. I would definitely stay here again!

The dinner and show was good. The garden cafe staff were so pleasant. Food was great. The stairways needs cleaning and our bathroom needed a better cleaning. Parking was the easiest. The location is great. Overall our stay was good.

The 7/10 ratings I saw were about right. The beds were clean and comfortable. They tried to spruce the place up with new modern furniture but things like the walls and the telephone were dirty. (something bout lipstick on a pig came to mind). We only stayed one night and had a good rest but learned in the morning that the walls are pretty thin. There's not a lot of quality lodging in cheesy Lake George. This place was ok. Maybe one of the better choices.

The room wasn't horrible but it was not good either. You could tell the bathroom floor had not been cleaned as there was someone's hair on the floor and spots of soap. There was a little mold in the bedroom up by the ceiling and you could tell the A/C Unit had probably never been cleaned.The room smelled weird too. The inside pool was slimy and there was mold on the walls.

Location was great. Walking distance from Lake George. Convenience of location was really the only good point. Front staff and housekeepers were nice. Hallways smelled like chlorine and the floors weren’t too clean. Rooms also had a weird smell. There was a crack in our ceiling. Just overall a very poorly maintained building.

Saw the previous guests medication in the bathroom. Mold around shower. Saw dirty towels. They need to do a better job of cleaning for the next guest. There was no toilet paper in the room upon arrival although they brought some promptly after being notified.
Otherwise it was a well kept facility, clean pool, extremely convenient walking around lake George, pricing was good.

The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, and an easy walk to the main attractions in Lake George.
The hotel itself is dated, and the walls are quite thin (you can hear your neighbor's conversations).
