Too much noise with the spring breakers in the building and in the neighbor building(Isla) They had extremely noisy parties almost every night until 2:00am at least...😡

Wasn't expecting it to be such an old building. Staff was super! Our bed was like a roll-a-way....very disappointed. This was evidently a lock out for a time share. We were instructed that upon leaving to strip the bed, set the trash outside our door, put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it. Stayed three nights and if you wanted clean sheets you could exchange them. This is a self service hotel. Not for me again.

If you are looking for an adult-only luxury place, this hotel isn't your choice. If you are looking for a family-oriented, clean, spacious place to stay, then the Beach Royale is the perfect place for you! The property has three swimming pools, tennis courts, and private beach access. The staff is very friendly and check-in was a breeze. Although the hotel is a little outdated, which many hotels on South Padre Island are anyway, this one is very clean and comfortable. Our room had two bedrooms with a king bed on one, and two full beds in the other. The living room also had a sofa-bed which could sleep two additional persons. The balcony had a great view of the resort and the beach. Overall this place is great for a family vacation! I will be coming back in a couple of weeks!

the place and location and privace really good and the fact that it is gated with securities! BUT The only thing that sucked was that we got a condo for 8pm so we had 2 vechiles and they only let 1 vechile at the property and the other as to stay on the other side of the street for in a public parking not being watched and DARK. If we resever a CONDO for 8 people, 2 vechiles should be permitted for that ROOM. I understand if they would only give one parking ticket for 1 room for 4 people, but a it was a CONDO, common secense not 8 PEOPLE are are going to fit all in ONE CAR. That is what SUCKED of this place. PLEASE WORK ON THIS ISSUUE.

Absolutely beautiful the views were stunning hotel was super clean many amenities right on the beach rooms were fully equipped with kitchenettes they were beautiful. I recommend to anyone we will definitely be back.

When we checked in the gate security and front desk were amazing. They verified my information fast and easy. The room was super clean and cozy. We all fit perfectly since it was 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Everything in the room was nice the only thing was that we had 2 remotes for all 3 televisions. The place is a little older but very clean. We definitely enjoyed the 3 pools and the beach access. Would definitely return because We enjoyed the hotel

I worked on South Padre Island for over 20 years. Stayed at this resort many times loved how welcomed they made us feel in the past. Everything was wonderful except for the check in experience. Front desk is the representation of Royale. They should be welcoming & cheerful & knowledgeable of the area.

We went to the beach one day. Stayed at the pools another, and then played tennis. We always had something to do. Didn’t have to leave the hotel.

Perfect place for a quick weekend getaway!

The hotel needs an overall repair. Need to change beds, pillows and furniture! Pullout sofa bed is very dirty!!! Lobby area is not inviting at all and dirty!

Excellent place to stay, the property was super clean, rooms and restrooms are big, the ocean view was awesome. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything we need to cook. The pools were awesome. I really recommend this place is a family friendly place to stay.

We loved the beach, the pools, the Bar made drinks but no alcohol at all.

Room was dirty from last guest, long strands of hair everywhere, back door did not shut all the way, would not lock, the curtains were old and falling down, the bed makes tons of noises, every time you turn over it wakes someone up, not to mention felt like the springs were digging into my ribs. Parking is very limited and sometimes difficult to find a spot. On the outside of the facility it smelled like raw sewage.

Very disappointed with the room. The term what you pay is what you get does not apply to this trip. Amenities were great. The actual hotel needs major upgrade.

Good place to stay

There was no place to eat & the room was very basic. It was 2 beds & a vest with a tv on it. The tv didn’t work when we got there. Didn’t even have one chair in the room

Horrible customer service can’t even park a boat on the property

Restrooms need some updating, cable not working properly or then that everything was great. Loved the view, access to the beach, 3 pools to choose from.
