I stated here last year and this stay was slightly better than the last time. After 3 days, my room had not been serviced (no linens, trash removed, etc) I asked that the front desk and I was told that for anyone staying for an extended length of time, they only clean the room 1 time per week and that he would put a reminder in for housekeeping. While they did clean the room the following day, it was not touched again during my entire stay. I had to go to the desk and ask for clean towels, bags for my trash.The first few days there was plenty of food for the free breakfast, but the last few days, there was only cereal and waffles. They were also out of regular coffee for several days. Everytime that I went into the dining area for the breakfast, the coffee area was always messy with spills and wrappers from the sweeteners. They do allow pets (for an additional fee) which is nice The hotel is in a convenient location. Staff were friendlhy. I felt safe here.

I didn't like the night staff or early staff was very rude

The staff was very nice. The place needs a little renovation. The paint on our ceiling was coming off. The bathtub was stained.

Door locks weak at best. Uneven floors in rooms. No elevator at all. Key card system faulty and constantly have to have key card recharged. Front desk guy never in a hurry to help customer. So you wait till he is done with what he is doing on his phone or etc. Shower little better than a trickle.

Was good for the price.

Staff was outstanding. The keycard equipment was not working and they couldn’t make keys for anyone, so they had staff at the ready to let everyone into their rooms at all hours. They were so apologetic, but there was nothing they could do about it, they did a great job solving the problem!

Our sink didn’t drain. The tub was dirty, discolored and old. There was obvious and poorly repaired water damage on our ceiling. No kleenex. Key card machine didn’t work so we had no room keys for 24 hours

The location is what I liked the most . As far as their customer service its terrible!! Thebedding smelled as though it hadnt been washed in a while! When i went to take a shower i noticed that the tub was clogged the water didnt exit at all the next morning i I didnt shower . I heard very large dogs barking loudly all times of night !! In other words I will give this hotel a 1 as a reference

All the entrance doors would not work with the electronic key. My room key would only work periodically... Very inconvenient

Decent enough place. The hotel and rooms appear to be updated; nice decor. Some of the painting and trim is sloppy, but didn't affect our stay. Comfortable beds and furniture. The staff was outstanding! All three gentlemen at the front desk were friendly and professional. I enjoyed talking with them. The only negative thing is they do not have an elevator; stairs only to second and third floors. There is a ramp to the lower level room. They were nice enough to switch our room to the lower level to accommodate my issues with stairs.

Breakfast was very poor.

The guys at the front desk were great. The room was not very clean. We had different types of blankets on the beds and it smelled like feet. ‘Breakfast’ was some packaged pastries and machine coffee, which was fine. There was a microwave and fridge in the room which was nice.

The staff were friendly but the hotel was in poor condition.

Location was excellent for an Iowa football game. Check in staff were nice. Unfortunately there was an odor in the hall and a dehumidifier running. The breakfast was a waffle iron but they had only said a continental breakfast so I didn't expect much. The bathroom was clean but out of tissues. The dust behind the bed and couch was noticeable. This place worked out on a busy weekend.

Pleasantly surprised how nice the room was. Good location for game day visit.

Honestly, the hotel felt gross and musty. As we were checking in a couple was at the desk complaining about dirty dishes in their room when they checked in and dirty sheets. The overall feel of the place was not one of cleanliness. I would not stay here again.

Nothing to like from this property. Housekeepers go into ur room without ur permission. Staff is argumentative n rude. Also moved rooms n housekeeper put mu belongings in hallway n didn’t inform me. Unprofessional to say the least.

Check in staff was rude. I was charged double. Called a manager was to call back and has not. Security doors at the end of the building are not locked.

Our room was filthy upon check-in. The carpet hadnt been vacuumed, all the surfaces had a layer of dust on them. The room reeked of mold. The hotel staff screwed up our bill and overcharged us above the price we booked at thru your site. The breakfast offered was poor to say the least

The hotel was very dirty from the hallways to the room. The shower backed up and there was black stuff in our tub. Looked like soap scum & hair. They ran out of towels so our family had 2 towels to share amongst the 4 of us.

The hotel is convenient, safe and very clean. The only problem I have is that it is not very friendly for people that struggle on stairs. No elevator and the hotel has a split level layout. The staff was nice and asked if we needed help getting our luggage up the stairs. Getting to the breakfast area was two flights of stairs.

Multiple surprise $10 charges. Didn't save the money I thought I would. Hate surprises!!!
