Main attractions a further walk than expected but close enough.

Lovely historic home on a tree lined street. We had the Kings Parlour room on 1st floor with private exit to the porch to enjoy our welcome gift (beer) and coffee in the morning. Could also keep an eye on our vehicle which held our bikes. Quick 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Unbelievably soft sheets and blankets.
Very peaceful and quiet. Others were staying there but really didn't hear them. Thumbs up!

We loved our stay here!! We stayed in “The Attic” room and it was so cozy and comfortable! Loved the local beers and waters in the mini fridge! The owners were super nice and the whole experience was wonderful! It was clean, safe, convenient, and unique! Highly recommend!

Very quiet and comfy place. Exactly what I needed. They were very understanding as I continued to extend my stay, waiting for family. Immediate response to any questions I had. Also, within a beautiful historical building. Makes for an even more exciting experience….

I love staying in old houses/quirky places. Pros: convenient to downtown, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Old Town and highways. Coffee, tea and snacks available 24/7. Mini fridge in room. Clean place. Local craft beer in the fridge and 420-friendly if that's your thing. Only cons were creaky bed and creaky floors. I stayed in the Oddities room, which was nicely decorated, but the sink was across the room from the potty, which was a little awkward.

Cute house but air conditioning/heating unit was very difficult to operate and the window was broken, causing the room to cool.

This was a great place to stay. Conveniently located to get around Albuquerque. Walking distance to some great breakfast places. We loved the history and uniqueness of the room. Very comfortable beds and nice set up for tea and coffee in the morning. The owners were very responsive. Thank you!

Beautiful historical home with works of local artists. Convenient location with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The host was extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent location from which to explore Albuquerque. We walked to Old Town, hiked in the mountains, explored the Petroglyphs, and cheered with fellow SuperBowl patrons at a local bar. Very enjoyable, and Brad and Steph were available for every need.

I would definitely stay again........ it's a very different experience and a welcoming ambience.... wish we could've stayed longer.

There were no shelves or drawers for clothing, no microwave even though there was a fridge, there was no desk for laptop work, if you're going to fly a pride flag you should balance it with an American flag. Owners were nowhere to be seen.

I loved staying at El Cuervo ABQ. It was a great experience, felt very at peace and comfortable. The host also provided two bottles of water and two local craft beers which made me feel especial and welcomed to this home.

The ambience

The management is responsive to texts and emails. They send all communication electronically which was a little overwhelming to deal with while we were traveling. Not meeting anyone during check in time or at breakfast made it feel kind of impersonal.
They have instant oatmeal and breakfast bars for breakfast which is nice. There are, however, no bowls and we weren't sure what to do with our dirty dishes.

the stay was good, the TV control was difficult to work, a Keurig in the room would have been nice, overall it was good

Very unique, charming, historic house. We were in The Brothel room with great AC. Brad and Stephanie were great. We enjoyed having coffee and chatting with others. Loved their dogs!

I did not stay there. It was not accessible for me using a cane.

El Cuervo ABQ is in a beautiful, historic home. It's a refreshing change from hotel chains. El Cuervo has local charm and character - it's more like being in someone's home than a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and intend to return the next time I'm in ABQ.

This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional travel experiences I've had.
The room had the worst AC out of any building I went into in Albuquerque. The AC temperature got up to 89 degrees all the way until 9pm, making the room extremely uncomfortable to be in.
The hosts messaged explained that the heat in the room was due to the heat wave in New Mexico, but no other building I went into, in all of Albuquerque was as hot as this "hotel".
The room also had plenty of mosquitoes and overall was just a very uncomfortable experience.
Lastly they promised to give me a partial refund because of how poor my stay was, but since I have left they have completely ignored all my attempts to contact them.
Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else if you want to stay with an honest host and somewhere that isn't 85-89 degrees inside.

I especially liked the interior design of the room. It is great!

Kind owners, easy freeway access, easy walk to Convention Center/Kiva auditorium, quiet, parking in back, comfortable colorful room with good bed and excellent shower. Was in attic room on 100 degree day but room was cool! Excellent bakery (Roma’s) just a few blocks away. Would highly recommend.

This is a room had nude paintings and photos all through it . chains hanging over the bed. A book on vampires and three bottles of blood on the shelf. We felt like we were in a witches den. This room was called oddities and that was an understatement.

Unfortunately we were misled into thinking this was a small hotel. Far from it. No one to greet or speak to. Our 2nd floor room, called the “brothel suite” was only accessible via a creaky, very narrow set of stairs which l could not negotiate with our luggage & gifts. The shower was in the living room, which my wife was appalled at. The house had a communal kitchen, however guests were not allowed to use it, although there was no food service. I had higher expectations from Vrbo & Travelocity. We went somewhere else for the night.

What a cool place! I try to avoid run-of-the-mill motels if I can, been there, done that. This place is far from that. Quirky, sweet, interesting. It's got personality for miles. I loved it. Just a couple of things to think about if you're planning on visiting: If you have a lot of luggage, don't book an attic room... I did, and ended up having to schlep it all up three flights of narrow stairs. Also, even though it's in the Downtown area, the street is residential, and I couldn't find any open restaurants within a safe, walkable distance. Apart from that, this place was quite unforgettable, and I would love to come back!

This property is self-check-in and out. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, at the top of a flight of stairs. The Hotel was once a bed-and-breakfast which was converted into a sort of self-serve hotel during Covid. However, the owners were on the property and very responsive. I would return.

The a/c was a bit hard to adjust, but overall this was a very fun place to stay--
