Quick short stay. Was comfortable, and clean. Checked in late, left for an early flight in Chicago. Was pleased with the service received. Asked for and received a room close to the elevator.

The bedroom sheets were dirty with blood stains in the sheets and pillows. The pool water was very cold and the hot tub water was brown. We told the front desk and they said we will get the money back except the $15 for my mom. When I got there I told her to charge my car. She refunded my car but they charge my mom car and now I can’t get my money back for my almost $80. This is the worse place I ever been I need the money they charge on my mom car.

I decided to stay here bc normally i have good experience with most quality inn locations. The merrillville location was by far out of all the hotels ive been to are by far the rudest inconsiderate. Ive nvr been treated so poorly before the front desk guy had the worst attitude and theres sone housekeeping guy that just stands in the hallways staring silently. . My room was gross. The curtains were shredded the paint was flaky n peeling off.there was no hot wate and theres used condoms in the grass all around the property. Ill nvr ever stay at this location ever again!ill definitely be telling family n friends nor aswell. .

From the time we checked in our trouble started. You need to know how bad our room was. Your crutains rotten. Bath towels i would use for rag. Hair in the shower freezer door missing. Your custom ser. Manger was swearing so vulger. Throw out my son for just standing by me. Telling him he was not a customer so get Your ass out. I told him it was my son protecting him mother do to the mannner he was treating me. He was wearing disgusting sweat pants and dirty t-shirt. He was unshaven. The hotel smelled like Marijuana on all floors. He said that i walked up to the desk then threw room key. He said i threw my room key at him. When i was still holding the key in my hand. He throw our my daughter in law just for asking him a questions. He treated saying there was a camera watching me. I then told him good then it will show how bad the language you spoke to a 71 year old woman. He then said to me HA, HA !! He had a phone in his hand telling me he was taking with the cops because they are asking for my truck plates number. Then he went behind the wall where i couldn't see him. It was not 45 seconds then he came back around the wall telling me the cops are on there way here. I told him, good then i will stand here to wait for them. He told me that he wouldn't tolerate the way i spoke to him. I just laught then stood there SUPPOLEY waiting for the cops to arrive. I said i was a receipt showing that i only paid for 1 night stay. That made him angery because i refuse to leave.

The moment I arrived there was someone getting arrested and I should have known there I picked the wrong hotel. First room I got in was leaking water from the ceiling onto the toilet. I reached out the front desk and they came to check (I guess to make sure I wasn’t lying) before giving me another room. The other room ended up being for a king VS two queen beds but my family of three could make that work so no big deal there BUT the new room we got put in had a roach. I didn’t even have to put my stuff down before I seen it. I let the front desk know, she asked if I wanted to go back to the previous room. I politely said no “ifs in one room , it’s most likely in all of them.” Mind you the new room was across the hall from the first room. At this point it’s 930pm and when I contacted Expedia they said they could not do anything because the hotel wouldn’t answer So I went back to the hotel and had to stand there to make sure answered ( she just kept staring at me like she didn’t want to while the phone was ringing) And then tells Expedia support she can’t give refund refund she ain’t the manager . We ended up driving 6 hours back home because I was tired and over it at that point. Called the next day and the hotel still denied refund because manager still was not on site and they didn’t know when he would be in. I only got 25 back from a 62 room. I guess I got what I paid for but DO NOT STAY HERE
