This was amazing in every way imaginable. Simply a beautiful property and the entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and just seemingly all around great people. I would recommend this to anyone willing to listen. Simply oustanding. The room was beautiful and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was terrifc, and wow, the view and the grounds themselves were magnificent. 12 stars!

Always an absolute joy to come to Trapp Family Lodge! Wish we lived closer so we could come all the time!

Most of the staff did not seem happy. They came across as overworked or just not that interested. The massage was sub par. The hot tub was not working. It is all very expensive and just didn't seem to match the value.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The bierhall is within walking distance of the main lodge and beers are brewed on property. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to any needs we had. Cannot recommend this property enough! We will absolutely be back!

Unique place with beautiful surroundings, landscape, trails etc. I must say though the entire facility is in bad need of of upgrade. Front entrance and desk absolutely horrible, outdated, dingy. After the rebuild on 80s, haven't touched much. Way out of date.

Beautiful property with great walking trails. We did the Brewery Tour and Von Trapp history tour which were both great and included in the resort fee. Our room was spacious, had a big bathroom and wonderful views. We enjoyed our long weekend getaway there.

Stay at the lodge and take all the tours (they are included in the cost of your stay). So much history and information and spectacular scenery. We walked all thru the lodge to see all the historical photos and memorabilia. Recommend you do the same!

The ambience and the wholesomeness

Although the history of the Von Trapp family was interesting, I was disappointed in the hotel it self. It was dated rather than charming. If heading to Stowe, maybe stay in Town or at the new facility at the base of the mountain.

Everyone is incredibly friendly

Room was lovely and a beautiful view. We had meals in the Bakery, Brewery and main lodge, the food was excellent. Staff was wonderful and very friendly. Used the pool and hot tub and everything was very clean and well maintained. Very very nice stay Thanks 😊

This trip was just meant to be relaxing and a long weekend. And it was that. We stayed in a king supreme room. The room was large-not like a typical hotel room. So that was super nice. Another bonus perk was we had a semi private balcany and the weather could not have been nicer. I will say that if you go definitely aign up for the history tour. This alone made our trip well worth it. For the cons: it was a bit pricey. There were trails or a ski pass that we couldve gotten but the snow had melted and the trails were not yet open, so no bonus there. The restaurant had a very limited menu that was pretty pricey. And the worst part of it all was until the last day of our extra long weekend(4 days) we never got a hot shower. The water was coming out at room temp, so it was very cold and made for a fast shower. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it to everyone even if you dont know anything about the Von Trapps but are looking for a relaxing getaway. But their story is a good one :-)

Wonderful overnight stay. Would like to coma back and explore more of the resort especially the outdoor center.

We had a wonderful stay, everyone was so friendly and helpful, the Tyrolean Suite was amazing with the fireplace. Very clean and tidy property. Great cross country skiing and fun indoor pool. The shuttle to Stowe Mountain ski area was very convenient, we had a great family vacation, would highly recommend.

The Lodge was so cozy, warm and inviting. The staff always spoke to you when they saw you and were very helpful if you needed anything. There were lots of green plants, and both cut and growing flowers throughout the Lodge which were grown on the estate and added such a nice touch to your surroundings, especially considering there was snow everywhere! There were many "family rooms" with crackling fires, books and games. There was a sun room and library. We would loved to have stayed longer.
