I like staying at the Loyalist. I always have convenient and pleasant stays. I did have one problem this time as my shower curtain was missing! But they fixed that for me. I do have a couple of suggestions for the hotel after staying there a few times. - The parking lot is every dark at night. You have lamp posts but all times I was staying there they don’t seem to work at night. The hotel would be best served by fixing these. There are also light fixtures along the building but most are not working as well. A few do, but fixing all this would help maintain the upkeep look of the property. Also, there are some large loose / broken pieces of fence laying around in the front and rear of the building, removing them will help keep the upkeep of the building look. - There is no large and lit up sign out front to advertise the hotel, there should be a sign. I know the hotel is called the Loyalist so it will have some appearance to that in the hotel, but in the rooms there are some chairs and tables that are getting worn out and need replacing. A very small modernization renovation would do wonders for this property. New headboards, chairs and tables in the units stick out to me as quick fixes, and for convienence add in charging station units for cell phones and other devices for staying clients. These are all suggestions. The rooms are still comfortable and fine. The pool is wonderful with sauna area and onsite restaurant.

Nice, clean and comfy

Room was freezing. Neighbors were very noisy at 3am i had to put on noise cancelling headphones to sleep. I was awoken by an alarm at 6 and 630 i did not set. I was pissed. Youll notice the alarm clock unplugged. Then housekeeping yelling at each orher outside my door at 8am. I gave up and decided to go for breakfast. It was awful. Only thing edible was the sausage and coffee. The entire floor smelled like sewage. My room was beautiful. I had a view of the parking lot not the city as expected. I am very disappointed. I worked here years ago and other than the comfy bed and lovely shower it was a letdown.

The staff for the dining were spectacular. There was one front desk staff that was not very friendly or helpful. The hotel room was clean...the decor in the room could definitely use an update. Nice view of the harbour though.

Lovely spot. Only complaint is our heat was set so low. We got a staff member to check and she couldn't figure out the issue. She was going to call some one to check it. We went to the conference room for a event. Room was still cool so we went to bed instead of addressing the issue. Was a nice sleep over all.

Great room. Amazing staff at front desk and the gentleman working in the restaurant was fantastic. Really good breakfast. The pool and pool area was small and not a lot of seating an uncomfortable seating

Nice and clean hotel is getting old and needs updates

Room definitely needs a good deep clean. Bathroom was pretty dirty (mold in shower) faucets clearly haven't been cleaned in a while. Shower head was really gross and water pressure was horrible. Honestly is worth what we paid. We stayed in way nicer airbnb for about $30 cheaper. Breakfast was really good however.
