Wonderfully surprised with 7 inches of new snow. Beautiful place, and extremely kind staff.

We love coming to these cabins and this facility. The area embraces the beauty of some of God’s creations. The staff are wonderful. The restaurant on site has amazing food. The nature walks that are available within the area are amazing the cabin we stayed in was nothing short of spectacular to wake up in the morning to winter. Wonderland was the topper for our weekend. We will be here again.

My husband and I stayed in the two bedroom cabin. Everything inside looked new and remodeled. It was very quiet. We could walk to the creek in a few steps. You can hear the creek from the front patio of the room. Very impressed and will be back again.

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the cabin. It was more than what we expected. It was great to see and hear the creek from our deck. The bed was a little hard. But we loved our stay. Watching the birds and the squirrels. Our grandson loved it and wants to come back this summer.

The cabin was great, lots of room, very clean. Great views and close to the creek. The food at the restaurant was not good. Recommend eating elsewhere during your stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. I enjoyed the porch that we had outside our room and I really enjoyed the gas fireplace. We didn't need the heat but we used it in the evening as a beautiful night light, and provided a romantic setting.

Need to drive north of Phoenix to get away from the high prices, this is the place to stay. Just a little north of Payson, AZ, which a nice mountain town. Upon arrival you are greeted by the wonderful staff, the room was fantastic.

Hotel was amazing.... The restaurant was pricey

Only issue is poor wifi. We have been visiting kohls for over 30 years. We know that cell coverage is poor. Which means WiFi effectiveness is more important. As with previous trips WiFi is not great, but it has gotten worse. I guess my increased expectation of Hilton ownership is unrealistic.

It was so beautiful right next to the stream. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. Beautiful property I highly recommend!

Peaceful and serene, this is an old style mountain lodge, nestled in the White Mountains. It’s about 20 minutes out of Payson. The room had been updated, and was clean, warm and comfortable. The property backs onto the Tonto river, and you can walk down to the water. The only dining option was the hotel restaurant for dinner, which was decent, but unexceptional. We had been informed there were no breakfast options, and came prepared with microwaveable meals. Otherwise, a drive into Payson is required.

The cabins at Kohls Ranch Lodge is such a relaxation getaway, especially those on the creek. Rustic, clean, and well supplied for kitchen use. Short drove from Payson. Be certain to dome at Diamond Pointe steakhouse, you wont be disappointed.

Besides the beauty of the place, wood is wood and walls are walls, but I truly feel that the people… The staff who make you feel so welcome are what really make a place special! We only got to stay one of the three nights as my mother went into the hospital, the staff was so kind And caring it was heartwarming! We will make Kohls Ranch our go to place!

in the cabins the master bedrooms bed is super hard had headaches all day since it wasnt a comfortable night

Kohls Ranch has always been one of my Favorite places to stay. Me and my wife love it. Rooms are great and staff is always awesome.

My stay was pleasant. The staff is great, they even let me borrow a cell phone charger, as mine didn't make it into the suitcase. The fireplace was roaring Saturday night, I wish I could have sat and relaxed by it, but was too tired from my day. The staff in the restaurant was amazing as well.

We have driven past this place so many times and I am so glad I made an impromptu reservation so me and the kids could play in the snow. I would highly recommend everything here but the bed. They are definitely extra, extra firm. Otherwise, great trip and fantastic staff! Shout out to the front desk agent who let me borrow her ice scraper after she saw me trying to get all the snow off with my hands.

Excellent stay, except mattress is getting a bit worn.

It's always wonderful to stay at Kohl's. Everyone is always wonderful. The hot tub is great. Soooo peaceful. Staff are wonderfu, caring, and available.

Delightful lodge in good repair. Their coffee which is available 24 hrs is good. Bed and bedding very comfortable. We stayed one night on our way through the area. Very thankful that their EV charger worked because the fast chargers in Payson were all offline.

Even though the restaurant was closed, we had a very nice, quiet stay.

Great to get to know the Mogollon Rim. Would be nice if they darkened the lights a bit so you could enjoy the beautiful night skies :-) But otherwise no complaints

My room was amazing with a great bed, decor, kitchen area, shower, table to eat at. Food at restaurant was fantastic!
