I'm saying this was a really cute hotel it wasn't like a five-star restaurant but the complimentary breakfast was actually stunning and better than I could have ever imagined! The pool was a little shabby with broken tiles and everything but my two kids and I had a lot of fun it was clean and we just had so much fun and we had a lot of alone time in it the lobby was cute and the staff was actually helpful offering a Band-Aids when we needed one and the room was nice I loved that we had a refrigerator and a microwave and I could just have coffee anytime I wanted it was a really great stay!

The afternoon clerk at our check in was fabulous. We were a family hoping to have 3 rooms near each other. She got that for us. She also was super friendly and kind.

Staff targeted me with the amount of people that visited while staying at this hotel. Also decided to ask a child about the amount of people staying in the room instead of talking to the parents.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool area floors and bathroom were dirty. Pool and whirlpool were clean and seemed properly treated. Nice, safe area with stores and restaurants nearby.

Early check in was available. Room was large and spacious. Hotel and room were very clean. Breakfast was good. The entire staff was friendly. It was a really nice stay, quiet. I'll definitely be staying here for all of my Grand Rapids visits, which are often.

We choose this location because of all the good reviews of the pool and hot tub, as well as great services. When we checked in we were greeted warmly and asked the reason for our visit. We responded that we were visiting the property to use the hot tub and look at Christmas lights in the area,we live just 30 minutes away. Never once did the front desk lady mention the hot tub was not heating and they had called for service. I saw kids playing in the pools so never imagined there was a problem. We checked in, went to dinner and looked at lights in the area. When we went back to the hotel in the evening and tried to enjoy the hot tub we discovered it was swimming pool cool. We checked out immediately and won't be back because of the dishonest behavior.

Cleanlyness

Only complaint were the pillows no substance. Flat made sleeping uncomfortable

All was good. Just needed a place to sleep during a 3 days visit . Breakfast is included , but is only 2 hours from 6am to 9 am . Wish they would add another hour.

We stay once a year, Thanksgiving weekend for a woman family Christmas shopping trip. It's reasonable and within walking distance to a Walmart incase anyone forgets something. Never had any real issues to complain about.

We liked everything about this hotel and would definitely go back.

I requested room cleaning and for my bed to be made two days consecutively without any action.

Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel; friendly and helpful staff; good breakfast options; easy access to the hotel from the freeway. I've now stayed here twice and highly recommend it!

First... The front desk worker was very nice. But... in this day and age when Hotel guests check rooms for cleanliness and bed bugs, hotels really have to do better. I literally found an empty (assuming) bottle of cheap booze between my mattress and boxspring. Yes, I have experienced bed bugs before. Yes I check. The bottle wasn't hard to find. It has to be hard to run a hotel right now with after effects of covid and shortage of staff but come on. That's just gross. What else didn't I find? So I was given a new room and now I'm really paranoid so I'm lifting the sheets to look and there's a nasty blood stain on the mattress right by the headboard. At this point I am tired and with no other problems I covered it with the spare blanket. I don't want to know what's on my mattresses anymore but could you flip it over? Or what if other side was worse? At least as far as I could tell there where no bugs and the bathroom was nice and clean. Pool and hot tub area nice too.

I had a great stay in this quiet, clean, and conveniently located (to highway 196) hotel. The front desk staff person was very friendly, the room was comfortable and well equipped, and there was nice breakfast. Some of the gym equipment wasn't working- the front desk person said she would let the hotel manager know. I would recommend staying here!

I have stayed here many times. While the building gets older, they still maintain it well.

Having more usable outdoor space on the property would be nice. One picnic table, as a smoking lounge, may not appeal to all.

Really nice and clean room. Water pressure was perfect. Very nice hotel.

Close to interstate and a Walmart

Very clean and in nice area. Walmart directly behind if you forgot anything. Receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was clean. The breakfast was okay. The eggs and sausage were not cooked all the way. My complaint lies with one front desk employee. Upon checking in, I was asked what was the reason for my stay. I have never been asked why I was staying at a hotel before and I found that strange. I asked him why did he ask me that, and he said it was just a question. BUT WHY ASK ME??? The next evening I asked for a late checkout for the next day, and the same front desk employee told me I would have to check with the manager in the morning. The night before when I checked in, a lady asked him for a late checkout, and he told her yes, but the very next night I asked the same question and was told I would have to ask the manager in the morning. I felt discriminated against, and I will most likely not stay here again if the same guy is working the front desk. He was not helpful like the other employees were, and he was not friendly to my family and I.

Nice comfortable bed, great swimming pool and wonderful hot tub. Very quiet place.
