Good budget stay, fast service

Hotel was overall in fairly poor condition. Workers were installing something in other rooms (new beds, perhaps?), but much of the hotel felt far past its prime. View from our window was of what looks like several wrecked vehicles on adjacent property. The entry door was incredibly difficult to open (warped or out of alignment) and the clerk was gone in the morning ("will return in 30 minutes") with no indication of when the 30 minutes began or would end. During this time the "breakfast" was essentially empty. Finally left and just scooted our card keys across the counter out of reach of other customers since there was no clerk and no drop box.

well, it wasn't really a Hotels.com issue. It was the hotel super eight Wyndham in Taos new mexico they were still cleaning the room when I got there at 5 PM and I came back in an hour. The door was wide open and the room is still filthy. I asked for a refund and never got it. I ended up going to another hotel down the street and pay the extra 50 bucks for the service

We were given a renovated room which had nice beds but the bathroom door closed poorly and was loud. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud and there was only a thin blanket on the beds.

Requested a first floor room. At check-in I was told they never received the request. The ice machine did not work, service was poor to not available. I would not recommend this hotel. The front door would also stick and even with your card, you couldn't get in.

people who work there are not too friendly

This hotel and the people who run it are disgusting. We attempted to check into our room only to find the room a disgusting mess and the beds all tore up, and not even made when I complain to the front desk. They offered us a second room and took us in it to show us how nice it was, but it wasn't. It was tore up trashed and the beds all tore up again. Neither room was made up. They called the manager. Manager said well, give me a full refund and good luck. Finding another room. I've never been treated like this. I've never been so grossed out. They wanted us to wait while they made up the rooms. And we're not talking about at noon. We're talking about at 9 PM way past when they were supposed to be done. But after walking in seeing the room looking disgusted, nobody wants to go back again, Oh, it's nice now. No, it was terrible. It cost me $60 more to get another room. It was worth it. I would tell everybody that goes to this motel skip It go down the street to the Quality Inn.
