Front desk clerks were ALL RUDE.
The hallways were hot and one of the elevators was broken. Other than that it was a good stay. Comfortable bed. FYI those front desk clerks need some lessons on customer service.

Been here half a dozen times. Ita my go-to whenever i have to work in Bessemer. Service is ok, but I always feel this is a safe, comfortable, and clean place to stay. First time I experienced full breakfast since COVID. Well executed all around.

We got into this place so late and they were so kind and helpful and understanding. I wish we stayed here our whole visit instead of the option my relatives booked for us. The service at Hamilton was absolutely outstanding and they made us feel welcomed. No one bothered us about the breakfast offered or told us we couldn’t have it unless it was eaten in the public dining area provided. They knew we were struggling the next morning since we got in so late and they didn’t make us feel rushed or like we were a nuisance. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff did an excellent job at accommodating us. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back and putting you at the top of our list of places to stay In Bessemer

The rooms and furnishings were old. We saw a roach bug in the room. Otherwise the stay was good. Friendly staff. Would have been nice to have breakfast provided (not just a bagel or muffin).

I checked in around 11:15 pm and had to wait 20 minutes while the VERY frustrated customer service person attempted to help a gentleman who had a reservation but was being charged double at check in because of the Alabama game in town the next day. When it was finally my turn, she found my reservation but didn’t have a room for me (I reserved and paid for a king room). After 10 minutes of clicking around she finally gave me a double queen. She made me sign a document that overcharged me for my room as well. I told her I wasn’t paying anything extra and her response was “I’m not asking you too”. Within 5 minutes of me getting into my room, she was calling me to see if my room was occupied! I explained she just gave it to me. When I checked out the next morning, I was told by the morning desk that my card couldn’t be charged. I reminded them I had prepaid for my room then told them they gave me the wrong room to begin with. They gave me a double queen and the family who checked in behind me, the king I was supposed to get. Terrible service. Room was clean but old. Pillows VERY lumpy.

I was greated by roaches the moment i walked in the door. They were everywhere, adult roaches and babies. There was also a used condom on the night stand. I have pictures if if anyone would like to dispute my review. I told staff at front desk, she gave me a new room across the hall. Staff was very nice. Those ladys deserve better work condition.

I tried to check in early but couldn't, understandable. Then when I went back later I get there and say we don't have any rooms available all those people are waiting, too. I'm like I have reservation and I paid already. The young girl at the front desk just couldn't answer. I asked for the manager and he never came out just told the young lady to update the system and there should be rooms available.

Got a room reservation via Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel, the fist indication that this was a possible mistake was the sign noted under new management. Next was the various windows and their coverings that could be seen from the parking lot as either damaged, or non-existing. The "pool" was filled in with dirt, and the landscaping dead or dying. We entered the lobby and went to the desk noting we had two rooms for two couples reserved. We provided our names and my room reservation could not be found. I showed my confirmation number from Expedia, and it still was not in their system. We then found out that they had no rooms available at all, but the maintenance person said he knew some were available. They could not tell from the system as per the other lady at the front desk they were just giving out rooms as people came in so no rooms. The maintenance person was now going to go room to room to check what rooms were occupied. Now we were sure this was a mistake and noted we should look elsewhere. As this was happening an older couple came through the lobby and let everyone know that their room they were assigned already had someone in it! They were given the key/card but when the door opened they ran into people in the room already. We then stated that no need to knock on doors to find out if any rooms were empty as we would look elsewhere for accommodations. This truly was a mess, and we felt bad for the receptionist at the front desk.

When we checked in and went to our assigned room unlocked the door with our room key the door safety latch was activated since the room was already occupied! There were 2 couples who had reservations but they had no rooms available therefore they had to leave to find other rooms. Once we were able to get into another room things got some better.

It appears they are doing some renovations due to new management--Lobby was being plastered and painted. Staff were quite nice and helpful. The room was ok for this price range however, it was evident the room carpets hadn't been vacumed or shampooed in awhile. Same goes for mopping the tile in the bathroom. It was a quiet room and everything worked.

We had to get the key card reprogrammed every time we went out of the room. The facility was dirty and out of date. They had no continental breakfast and their excuse was being under construction. One customer said that someone walked into their room while she was sleeping. One customer said that their shower didn’t work and instead of the hotel placing them in another room, they just told them to go next room over and use that shower.

They had just changed owners and general managers. The front lobby and some of the second level was under construction. The night that we arrived one cleaning lady had quit and none of her rooms had been cleaned. The general manager did give us a different room. One cleaning lady and one member of the front desk staff did make sure that our room was cleaned and that we had clean towels the next day.

Construction was going on while we were staying, so we were disturbed pretty early in the morning. Elevator was terrifying, we were on the top floor and it still kept trying to go up. There was a huge roach in our bathroom when we lifted up the towels. The hallway was ridiculously hot and we had to keep taking our keycards to get renewed cause they’d quit working every time we left the room.

I didn't like anything about the hotel and no refund after you pay didn't tell you that the rooms was in condemn shape room was Dusty and things were broken trash was in hallways for days

First room was not clean or ready, room that was given in replacement bathroom smelled like pee and toilet was unflushed as if someone had just went number 2 …water from water fountain was literally white and had residue was NOT worth the almost 300 I paid to reserve and definitely not worth $150 deposit.

The water system was a little interesting but I’m not from the area so I’m not sure if sediment is supposed to come out when you haven’t used it in awhile. Either way it was a very nice stay!

No service because of covid? Had to ask for towels, maid service, ni breakfast muffins on a couple days. Price was to high for no pool no service and not that clean. Room was large and over all looked good in appearances. Except pool area and it had croaking frogsband looked disgusting.

The room was very dirty. Carpet in the room was wet from leaks or something. The shower did not work properly leaving the tub running while you showered. We were given no linens had to request those and had a 1/2 a roll of toilet paper for 4 people. I requested that as well and was given a roll that was damaged. Advertised to have a full breakfast and all that was provided was coffee, pre packed muffins and yogurt which were all limited

No continental breakfast. I only had one wash rag one hand tow one bath towel. No lat for the floor. It cost $150 they put on hold. Way too much for what you get
