there were no plastic cups for even simple drinking. There was no shampoo. The room was bare, except for the bed and a desk. I would expect for an extended stay that at least there’s some sort of a chair to lounge in or something.

The staff was incredibly rude behind the front desk and the hotel and room was filthy. The man at the front was unnecessarily rude and offensive when I checked in. Then when I requested dishes to use the man at the front desk (the only person working at the time) gave me a very hard time. He finally reluctantly gives me a few cups and a pot with black flaking off (not the set of dishware usually provided at extended stay hotels) and they are dirty. I offer to wash them myself if he provided soap and a sponge to use and his response was to roll his eyes at me then reluctantly gave me one little soap packet to wash all the dishes with and I had to ask repeatedly before he’d give a sponge to me. I then asked if there was an ice machine and he told me “if you want ice you can get it yourself from the store” in a rude tone and vaguely gestured outside. Keep in mind this was late at night and I had just checked in after a long drive. When I tried checking out early in the morning there were no staff to be found anywhere on site and no drop box for keys. I called to try to file a complaint right after my stay and because “the hotel would not confirm my story” (which felt a lot like victim blaming) I was refused when I requested a complaint be filed. Normally extended stay is a decent hotel and it takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but I will never stay at this location again it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Very nice service

Location excellent/ cleanliness good/ lower staff members excellent/ management fair/ complaint-One. The marina extended-stay advertises, cooking ware. You are asked to request it. After such request, it will be provided. Not so. Nothing for food preparation is given in the room, even after request.

My room had a whole in the wall, the alarm clock made clicking noices all night long and my room was surrounded by noisy people Both were yelling on top of their lungs. If you want a good night sleep, do not stay here.

Sheets were dirty, had to ask to change them, curtains didn’t close all the way, had to use ironing board to fill the gap, struggled to close the window, embarrassing for all the money per night I paid.

Just called & spk./w the GM. My husband was bitten over 65 times by bedbugs. She said that they would do an incident report and have the room examined for bugs, and get back to us in a minimum of 5 days. But implied that we should have called sooner. My husband will not complain, he just won't go back. He said the room had not been cleaned in a while, ring around the tub and looked like dried ice cream on the nightstand.

Retirement community focused on elderly residents, Hairs on beds, the cleaning lady with dred locks may be suspect, double lock your doors after dark.

I like that it was easy to get to and theres a shopping center near by

We have stayed here often and enjoy it, we like Alameda and the location the views are great of the marina. This hotel advertises extended stay with a full kitchen which it has, but it has no utensils, no cooking utensils, no coffee maker, you have to order that from the front desk. we ordered for 2, but was told they didn't have enough coffee makers, so we received two coffee mugs, no coffee maker, two plates, no drinking glasses because there wasn't enough to supply all the rooms. That's like going to McDonald's and asking for a Big Mac but they tell you they're all out. So if you're going to stay here bring your own pots, pans and coffee maker.

One minor concern: Please monitor the breakfast offerings. There were multiple times when the coffee or condiments were low or empty and it had to be brought to the employee's attention.

Rooms were nice and kitchen items were available for the asking. We were told to not walk alone late at night.

It’s a nice spot to rest after a long drive

Just spent the night. Did not stay at the hotel long. They need new window blackout curtains. Need to clean/deodorize elevators.

Fresh, clean and afforable.

The view of the bay was pleasant from the hallways but it wasn’t worth it. There was a pubic hair on one of the pillows, there was sticky pink stuff on the air conditioner, there were crumbs under the light. Overall just disappointing but staff were pleasant.

Traveling alone, I felt safe, and the rooms and property were clean.
