Check in person was nice but, once I made it to my room it was all downhill. From loud a/c to smelly and disgusting floors; This was the worst hotel room I have stayed in my entire life! Was looking forward to using the pool but, that was closed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! If I had known that I would have stayed elsewhere. Didn’t get hardly any sleep because of all the noise from the people upstairs to doors opening and slamming shut. Bathroom was disgusting and sink had major draining issues. Shower was designed for a handicapped person and even with the shower blind completely closed water was all over the floor. Terrible condition of the entire room. No saving grace here at all! Even sent an email in and received no response. Will never ever ever stay at this POS hotel again!

Whenever my family visits Charleston we stay at the Sleep Inn at West Ashely. Its an affordable, clean, and comfortable option for us.

Our room had a humidity issue where everything was wet - our towels didn't dry, the carpet was musty, etc. We asked for maid service which only happened on one day and they didn't make up the second bed.

Bed was very comfortable. Room had a musty unpleasant smell.

After driving all day we were met by the least friendly customer service person at the front desk (older lady not younger person) who told us check in started at 3 ( it was 2:45) and that was it. Nothing else. When we went back to the desk at 3, she took my key and handed me my key. No info provided as to any hotel services such as brkfst hrs, Wi-Fi password,amenities etc. The ground floor room were assigned was directly beside the side exit door so we were kept awake almost all night by people hitting the crash bar to go in and out to smoke,drink or just simply go to their car in the rear parking lot. The room and the hotel for that matter was old,tired,worn and stale (it smelled bad and smoky despite the non smoking policy). The outside landscaping upkeep was poor and the basket in the designated dog cleanup area had no bags and didn’t look like it had been emptied in at least a week. I use a lot of these I-95 adjacent hotels ( this one being further inland) a this is easily the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I could go on and on including getting no room service on a two night stay, one roll of toilet paper, two washcloths,and one small hotel size bar of soap ( no body wash is provided) but you get the point. We were very dissatisfied.

We had a great stay. The place was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are small but have everything you need.It was close and easy to get to the historical downtown district. We would stay again.

I stay in a motel twice a week. Have stayed in many in this area and have found this Sleep Inn is by far one of the cleaness and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and was very pleased with the room. The sheets were tightly tucked and the shower and sinks were white gloove clean. Walking distance to reasturants was also a plus.

The front staff was useless. They were on their phones the whole time and charged me for housekeeping without telling me there was a charge and then they never came to clean. Then our room just was not clean feeling, the walls were dirty and a stain on the carpet was gross. When I asked the front to refund the charge for the housekeeping since they never came they said they would and never did. I asked again when I left but never got an itemized bill to show what they charged me for in the first place. I tried to by water from the vending machine and it was out so I asked the front desk (two people both on their cell phones with ear buds in) if they had any bottles of water I could have and the one girl looked up from her phone and said there was another vending machine on the third floor. The other guy just went back to his phone. We were staying on the first. That was pathetic. The breakfast was extremely lacking and and even the bread for toast was stale. There is not good lighting in the back where you park and it feels unsafe. I will never be back.
