Room was not cleaned well. Bed was clean and in fair condition. Bath and vanity was clean, also. Floors needed vacuumed and all needed updating. No hot water to even wash hands, let alone take a shower. When the desk clerk was told, he claimed it was due to too many people.

Great quiet hotel. We have stayed here for years when in the area.

Room smells bad and the walls are dirty! Not worth the price!!

The beds need to be updated. And more towel in the room.

I'm satisfied for what I paid for from a low budget hotel. I needed something cheap that was near Barber Motorsports. Hotel was clean, quiet, A/C worked well & didn't smell, and ice machine worked. Breakfast was a "light" one, so includes coffee & a honey bun. I'd definitely come back.

Good overnight stay. No laundry facilities. Fuel and convenience store next door. Weird... front desk asked me for my CC pin, which was a bit sketchy.

I can not understand how these hotels get excellent ratings or are even on this website when you walk in a non smoking room and the bedsteads have cigarette burns. Nicotine stains are dripping down the walls. We pulled the chair out from under the desk and crumbs covered the seat. We convinced ourselves it’s only for a few days. A place to sleep and then get up and go. I will say they didn’t have bugs but they did have two people that actually lived in the hotel that were workers. That is no big deal to me but please do your job. We did not stay and relax due to the circumstances but on the last day of packing our stuff up, we found a vape while we were looking for my kids marbles. The saying is true… DO NOT MOVE THE FURNITURE! The terror of grossness.. This hotel has so much potential but paint and clean the rooms up would be a huge accomplishment.

The door to our room didn't seal all the way. The lock was barely attached to the door. A gaping hole with springs exposed in one of the box springs. It did not look like the pictures online. The "breakfast" was just honey buns and an open box of frosted flakes.

The room seemed clean , had to get a smoking room . There’s a $80 deposit for a nonsmoking room that isn’t stated in the website . The towels are small , the wash cloths look old And worn out . The bed is kinda hard , pillows are small And not enough of them for 2 people . The shower seemed to leak in the floor , which is slippery . The sign didn’t have the the hotel name on it . I don’t recommend this place and I won’t be back .

Good for a place to sleep, great location to Barber - which is what we needed. Bed was hard and room was humid, but it was clean.

Great location, great price and room clean but dated. All things considered great value when your on a tight budget.

Close to Barber Motorsports Park and Buckee's is right across the street.

General area easily found, but building itself is up on a hill and no large signs to guide turn in. Continental breakfast is one pot of coffee and a sweet roll.

Just a very poor condition of a room. Torn sheets, paint chipped off multiple spots. Unkept enough that I went to a Hampton Inn down the street. no refund. I'm not sure if that was them or Expedia's choice but they said it was Expedia. expedia claimed only 1 room left and the parking lot was virtually empty. Extremely disappointed

Microwave was the first one ever made and did not work, neither did the fridge or the remote for the TV, everything is dirty, other people staying there looked like low lifes, paid big bucks to stay here and feel ripped off.... stay away, pay much less for a better hotel near by.

Moderately priced, moderately clean, continental breakfast consisted of a couple of banana’s a couple of oranges , honey buns and coffee. One type of cereal. Staff at checkin ( early afternoon) had the lobby locked and tried to do everything by the night window. Felt very unsafe.

The property was good and no closed captioning available on the TV remote to access the TV to turn on captions. Husband needs- sad but out of our control.

Quite overpriced for a hotel that advertised breakfast, which was meager and unhealthy. The bathroom had women's hair still on the floor and the packets of shampoo and lotion were almost empty and coagulated. The towel rack was broken and hanging down. This hotel was sub-Hotel 6, Red Roof inn. Maybe a $50 a night hotel. Will not go back.

It was old and dirty. Lights didn't work. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it smelled of smoke and had cigarette burns on bathtub. The carpets were stained and dirty. Environment/atmosphere made me feel like someone was going to break in and rape or kill us. Also, the door was broken and not very secure. It was very scary!

Affordable, clean and easy access to I-20 and there’s a Buc-ee’s right across the street.

Room was comfortable but nothing fancy. Good for overnight stay while on road trip. Didn't appreciate the phone in room ringing at 2am!

This place is like a third world country. Smells like it too. Probably the worst place Ive ever stayed in.

Nothing. I paid $150 a night expecting at least a 3 star hotel. I got no frills, old stinky room. Toilet rocked and rolled when we set down on it.was there for a car race so all other nice places booked. When we checked in he couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t sold out yet or his 2nd hotel either. Won’t be back. Once burned is why people weren’t returning

Very basic, bathtub had a weird blue stain, king bed had a dip in it. Bed and pillows not very comfortable.

The property was extremely close to the Barbers Motorcycle Museum which was great and they offered a good rate for the overnight I needed. I don't believe I would stay there for anything more than a night. The complimentary breakfast was a joke and not even worth doing.

I guess you get what you pay for. Mainly stayed here for the price and convenience.

First of all, there was a group of “people” throwing a Mariachi Band concert in the lot below our room and loud as hell… if that wasn’t bad enough, we entered our room and 5 roaches and other bugs were on ceiling. Ashes and residue of drugs and paraphernalia on back of toilet. Along with hair from private parts and possibly throw up on seat of toilet. No toilet paper existed, hair and dirt and ashes in tub. Fridge had black mold in it and didn’t work. All outlets were snatched out of the walls and had holes were the outlets were. Bathroom sink wouldn’t work. That about covers it… oh wait…. The air conditioner was about 100 years old and kept knocking off and on. Needless to say when we asked for another room, we were told there weren’t any. Refund? Negative. Horrible place. We wound up sleeping in our car as all other places were sold out because of race at Talladega. This place should be condemned. Do not stay here.

Simple and clean, which is all you can hope for at a motel in this price range. Having a Buccees across the street is a plus!

Bathroom could have been cleaner. No coffee service in room.

I just wanted a clean room/bed and Americas fit the bill. The room was smoke/odor free and the bed was comfortable. I didn't use the shower, so can't comment. When I made the reservation, the info said that they served breakfast. Actually, they only offered coffee, but there is a huge 24 hr a day store/gas station that has pretty good freshly made food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I will stay here again if in the area.

On motorcycle trip. Rain delayed check in to next day. They were accommodating to last minute reservation change by phone. It’s an older motel with not much updating over the years. Don’t expect a lot. Stayed there because very close to Barber Motorcycle Museum and smoking rooms(?!) lol No breakfast due to virus. Buckees across street. Coin laundry down 78. A bit further down, local place Laneys for good breakfast buffet. If on a bike, be aware, all entrances are steep up hill. Exits off 20 are steep curved at stop light to Buckees and motel. Lean the wrong way at stop would be bad, lol Entrance to motel hard to spot across from Buckees. Look for Subway shop. Motel behind Subways

This hotel was good for the price. No breakfast, and no coffee in the am but Buckees is located directly across the street so we just went there. Beds were somewhat comfortable could use a little updating. Overall it’s good for a one night stay.

It was an older property. I got what I expected. No major surprises. Certainly not dirty.

The room was filthy. There were toe nail clippings on the floor next bed. The mattresses were very old and stained. There blood stains on the sides. The box springs corner had blood and dirt stains. There was a rip across the whole room where it look like the carpet was ripped up. There were cigarette burns in multiple spots on the comforter even though we were in a non-smoking room. We did not even want to stay and take a shower. Ever I was walking around I wore flip-flops.
