The hotel was very comfortable and clean. It has a wonderful location in the city. The one major drawback was that it has only two elevators, with one out of service, and it is a very large building. Our room was on the 6th floor. In 4 days I never witnessed any work being done on the out of service elevator.

We booked at this hotel last minute (due to a variety of issues) that meant we were in a new city with no place to stay. The incredible front desk staff members Markeisha and Imani were so helpful and accommodating and pleasant and.... I could go on and on, but let me just say that they saved our first trip to Seattle by being total pros, fully understanding and so helpful. They were able to get us a room at 10:00pm at night and it was a great; clean and the perfect size for 2. The location was great and near a variety of amenities as well. We were only there 2 days but we are still talking about and telling people about our great experience at the Holiday Inn in downtown Seattle. Thanks again Markeisha and Imani.

Pricey and service not good. Only one elevator working and no water bottle in the room. Most of the hotels provide water bottle atleast when you check in but not here.

The security coming from garage to lobby wasn't the best. Found homeless people sitting and sleeping in the staircases. Using stairs to go to your hotel room, you have to go outside, door not locked. No use of hotel key to access the stairs at all, so basically anyone could walk around the hotel.

Safe downtown property for walking to climate pledge arena. However, this property is in need of a major remodel. The bathroom was so rundown it had a look of filth to it. One elevator was broken the entire time and the sign made it clear it was a pre-existing problem. Beds were nice and firm. The rooms were slightly updated, but still dated.

The staff was amazing and went advice and beyond to make sure my children had a stress free check in while traveling to tour a college out of town. I’m grateful and will definitely use this location again!

Good stay, Very close to Seattle Center, walkable. Nice and Clean. Roomy. Bed comfortable. Nice staff but we did have 45 min wait time to check in (but it was a super busy weekend), so they comp the parking. Was happy with our experience and would stay again.

The room was ok. It was well worn. Wall paper was peeling off the bathroom wall and you could tell where a hand towel rack used to be. The toilet was so low, I even had a hard time using it and I am 5 feet tall.
There was only one elevator working and using the stairs was awfully difficult. The stairwell was not like a normal stairwell and the signage was terrible fir locating all the parts of the stairwell.
The location was great for access to Climate Pledge, food & entertainment.

They told me my room was ready when I checked in but the cleaning staff were still there. Also one elevator was down and the staircase is not super accessible

The breakfast next door which was included was terrible. We had a very long wait and the food was cold and undercooked. Other than that, the hotel was wonderful and quiet. Will stay again!

Stayed here because the property was close to my conference and close to Amtrak. And other fun things downtown. There was a lot of construction in the area. It was not very clean. There wasn't a lot of dining and the hotel staff was not great, not very helpful. Vending machine was broken. Seems they put out a basket of snacks when some people check in but not for all which is kinda crummy. I say in the lobby a while and watched this favoratism it was annoying. If you book through 3rd party like Expedia they don't let you make any changes, i wanted to check out a day early because of a family emergency and they said no.
Overall an ok experience, parking garage is locked. So your car is safe, so that was nice.

Great location and service for DT Seattle! The hotel is old but well managed, the only thing is the construction right in front so prepare to wake up at 7:30

My biggest issue with the stay was how there was a difference in price between what was offered on Expedia and what I paid in the hotel. I'm not knowledgeable enough about whose fault it is but the way the reception employees handled my situation was a bit hectic. Constantly blaming Expedia without offering to help facilitate the communication and take an active part in solving the problem. Moreover, In the pictures, my room had a sofa bed and an additional couch, when we arrived there was no couch and one person was forced to sleep on the floor for 5 nights and all the hotel had to offer in return was saying "We don't have couches in our rooms but would you like to more pillows?"

We stay 1 night on 29/30 in 2023. Room number 437 is terrible! The toilet was stuck, no one come up to repair, the elevator taking super slow and only 1 is service.

Very clean, conveniently located, good service and overall good experience. The hotel is a little bit old, but the rooms are very clean and spacious. Only one elevator was working, so we had to wait during peak hours.
Friendly and helpful staff, quick check in and check out. Rooms have a small fridge, little bit noisy.

our room was nice. I liked that the parking was gated didnt have to worry about my car. checking in could of been better. It felt like pulling teeth asking for basic information at check in.

Only two elevators for 6 story Property, & 1 elevator was "Out-of-Service" throughout our 3-day stay!! Daytime elevator service took forever; & it was a Dangerous situation IF there had been a necessary EVACUATION Emergency. Totally Unacceptable.
