We only stayed a night but it was affordable and clean. We appreciated our stay.

Property location was convenient for entertainment activities. Front desk service (TJ) was excellent. The 1st room had a musty/moldy odor and was quickly replaced by the excellent service at the front desk. After that everything was perfect. Good food, good service and good location.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Hotel is very dated and needs an update.

Poor customer service, indoor pool was dirty and needed some upkeep. Breakfast provided was disappointing and always out of food and it was not restocked. Our bedding was stained. We will not be staying here again.

Room is really nice. Pretty slow check-in procedure. Great location for most activities in the Okoboji area.

Was a nice place to stay.

I sent a chat today with an Expedia chat help center. We had to change our room to sewer smell. No maid service was offered and even removed our own trash. We had to wait for breakfast more than an hour 3 days in a row and ended up going to get breakfast elsewhere $40 extra charge. When I got the bill for our stay is was only 850$ and Expedia charged me much much more. It was a big inconvenience to have to tell staff things needed to be refilled for continental breakfast and when I said something about sewer smell and seen the plumber the front seat denied any repairs but the smell gave me headaches so we changed our room. Expedia rep said she had to stand by the hotel but I thought Expedia stood by their customer. Such poor service from Expedia

Great place to stay at Lake Okoboji!!! So close to everything..

The room was really clean and nice. However, the air conditioner was extremely noisy...and sort of kept waking us up. Also...I made the mistake of booking online and booked for 2 nights...and when I needed to cancel one of those nights several days in advance...I was told I couldn't. Unfortunately...I spent ALOT of money for a one nights stay.

property was clean and well maintained, Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff both on the reservation desk and in the lounge, rather indifferent. The rooms are not restocked every day with towels, etc, and when we went to the front desk to exchange them, we we told: "get them off the cart in the hall " Lounge bartender very indifferent to the point of rudeness. ( did not eat in the dining room). Nice breakfast.

This hotel is terrible. First I was assured that a late check in was ok and they would be right there waiting for me. No one was there during check in but a sign w a number to call. Ok fair enough. Except no one answered. It's 3am and I called probably 20 times w no answer. I have a sleeping toddler in the car w my husband and really needed to check in. No one ever answered and I had to go around the lobby and start knocking on various doors to try to find someone. Eventually I did. They checked me in and apparently their phones are not working so that's fun. They also offer no house keeping services during your stay even on request. Even if you are there for a week. You have to bag up your own garbage and take it out and go to the front desk for towels. They said you can call the front desk if you want to come get towels but I tried from the phone in my room and guess what the phone does not work so you can't even call the front desk. Stay away from this terrible hotel at all costs. Unless you want to pay 200 a night for nothing. Come to find out at checkout that they do offer room service on request but I was given the wrong information. So I spent the whole week begging for toilet paper and overflowing garage in my room for no reason. Oh and outside of the 1300 hall in the parking lot smells like sewage or cat litter. Gross. Last breakfast there there was nothing stocked up everyone in there was looking in cabinets for forks, plates, etc. juice machine was broken,no water

We would stay here again. Food was really good in restaurant

The indoor and outdoor pool were out of maintenence the entire stay. We picked this hotel specifically for the kiddos. Disappointed

Hotel is outdated and overpriced. The staff was amazing and friendly and fantastic. But the ownership really needs to renovate and upgrade. Beds were mid as best.

Had a great trip. Visited Okoboji for a concert during memorial day weekend. The hotel was reasonably priced and close to the park. Will definitely choose this again. Went out that way.

The staff put as about three rooms away from the entry door that goes to the swimming pool and there was prime going on and that was at the same entrance so they were kids running in and out the whole night but we did not realize that until after we went to supper and friends told us about prom. I did not get much sleep that night. I would’ve thought they would consider that one putting us in a room

Good hotel

Breakfast was always 30-45 minutes late and the service people would give mean looks for being there. Toilet seat was loose that ended up pinching us. Keys stopped working hours before check out. Kid Pool was chipping and pieces just left in the water for kids to walk on. Ants in the pool area.

Last minute booking for us but made everything great. Family oriented place to enjoy the evening for winter games

There was a party at the hotel the night i was there and very loud until 3am. There was a security guard on duty but it wasn't helpful.

You had to go a long ways to get to the pool, up and down stairs and it was not easy to find. The breakfast was good but the layout of the motel is bad.

The room was in a basement area and reaked of mold and mustiness. The air conditioner was obviously failing. The shower water smelled as well and hot water in the mornings was non-existent. A coffee pot and coffee were provided,but no cream, so we asked the front desk for it, they informed us they didn't have any, BUT the breakfast area in the morning had plenty of sugar and cream filling their bins? The toilet was VERY low to the ground without any assistance bars, none of us were handicapped, but it was quite the feat for able bodied adults to raise and lower themselves upon it. 1 toilet paper roll was provided for our 2 day stay, we chose to purchase more ourselves rather than be turned down again at the front desk. The complimentary soap was such a sliver,but we did make due with the 2 provided. We have no idea how this hotel can possibly be a 3 star location,we have definitely stayed at no-name roadside inns that provided better accommodations than this hotel did.
