We liked our clean, non-smoking pet-friendly room on the ground floor. Ample parking. Easy walk to downtown Ashland. Nice nearby coffee shop for breakfast.

All was ok until 701sm whEN I WAS AWAKENED BY LOUD ROAD CONSTRUCTION RIGHT OUTSIDE THE MOTEL. After driving 10 hours the day prior and arriving at 1130pm, this was not the quiet restful experience I needed. THIS SHOULD BE CLEARLY NOTED ON THE HOTELS.COM BOOKING SITE.

Someone was using a leaf blower or some type of gas 2 cycle engine in the rear of the property near the bathroom window at 7-8pm. other than that, the place was easy to find, nice location. I thought the $100 refundable damage deposit was too high.

I'm sorry I don't answer the phone while driving, so they didn't know I would be arriving late. It wasn't a problem that I had to call to check in.
The problem was that the heat didn't work in the room. They brought me a space heater to warm the room quickly, but an hour after I turned it off, the room was freezing. The space heater did keep it warm in the room, but it was not ideal.
I was also put off my the $100 deposit in case I trashed the place; I wonder what sort of clients they've had in the past...

My Wife and I have been staying at the Timbers when in Ashland for many years now. The owners and staff are very friendly, its reasonably priced, and kept very clean. We appreciate that it is simple and consistent and makes for a great weekend getaway with no surprises.

We stayed in the family room which was the perfect size and set up for our family of five. The room took awhile to heat up and was quite cold when we arrived. But, it was plenty warm overnight.
Overall, decent for one night while we were passing through on our long drive.

Our accommodation at Timbers INN and Suites was a nightmare. Our room was supposed to be a one double and queen room, and we were given two double beds. The bed frames were old metal frames and extremely loud. The smell in the room smelt like a dog kennel and pee. The floors were sticky with hair from previous patrons. The towels were really gross and looked like they have been in use for the past 20 years. Everything in the room was old, broken, and heavily used. They need to make some serious improvements if they are going to charge $120 a night. We will never be returning.

We did have a pet room which may explain the condition. But our shower drain didn't drain well. Our toilet didn't flush very well. We pulled the extra blanket and it was weirdly starchy and had stains. The furniture was VERY worn, and stained. Which I can understand that being a pet room, but not what I expected from the photos.

Today was my birthday and we decided to go to Bend Or. Unfortunately after a long and exhausting day of missadventures we pulled over in Ashland at 12 am so Expedia only recomended a few properties. They had a lock box system set up for late night use. I decided to book from their doorstep and assumed they would email me a code. Instead I got a message telling me check in by 11 pm. I feel lied to and ripped off. I tried to cancel from my room at the Bards Inn, but The Timbers kept my $ .

WAY too expensive for the outdated, dirty, noisy room. Electrical cords haphazardly used.

Right next to SOU and a great Mom and Pop pizza place (and they even had gluten free crust). Hotel is nothing special, but it did the job and felt safe. The girl at the counter was sweet and helpful when we checked in. It’s a bit too far to walk to downtown from the hotel, but it’s still a great price for the location. We plan to stay here again.

The area was nice the property is older but well maintained, it is right across the street from the college and the pizza place right next door made dining east. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The location was great for sending our kid off to college - Dorms were right across the street.
But the room smelled like bleach - made me cough all night and my niece found a partial condom wrapper on her pillow. BLECH! At least it wasnt the condom.

The staff were very nice and friendly but the room was disgusting. There were cheezits and snacks on the floor from the previous tenant so I have to assume they did not clean the room at all between visitors.

The rug looked pretty dirty. Overall VERY outdated & needed remodeling, furniture, bathroom, everything needed updating!! The staff was great, everyone very friendly & helpful! Give them an A, but rm condition a D.

I was happy to get a last-minute reservation. The room was clean enough and easy to access. They let me have my dog, and I am grateful for that. On the other hand, there was some kind of liquid splatter on the door, the curtains didn't fully close, and it was very noisy in my room. I think my room was next to a soda or ice machine. It was room 101, and I needed earplugs. Very loud.

The room is simple and the bed is comfortable. It's within walking distance to the center of town which is very pleasant. The owners of the hotel were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a nice stay for a last minute visit to Ashland.

I find parking around the building extremely limited. I have to always park away from my room, I feel my car unsafe when parked farther away from the building (e.g. at Market Of Choice property parking lot). Timber's motel parking is poorly designed with too many tight corners.
I like how the Timber's motel is located (for me walking distance) near OSF. Only a good 30 min. walk during the daytime. And walking, driving, public bus distance to all major food places too.

The room was a little bit and a rough shape but clean. Although I got a dog friendly room, they charge me an additional $40 just for the dog for one night. Seems a little steep. And addition they were warning me about stains on the rug if the dog had an accident. My dog doesn’t have accidents, but I’ll tell you this. The rug was stained all over the place. So I took pictures to protect myself. Parking was awkward. Old school with using a key to get into the room.

They told me to cancel through Expedia. Then Expedia told me they were contacting them to cancel, which they denied. Then they wouldn’t pick up from my number. So I had to chargeback because they were mysteriously unreachable.
