The hotel is getting remodeled so it is currently not in good conditions, but they are visibly working on the remodels. The beds were comfy and clean. Pillows and towels were good too. The night table and the desk were ad-hoc with a top added on the drawers. There were only one wall plug available, near the floor entrance so that was not ideal. Breakfast was poor, with boring cereal like plain instant oatmeal. The pancake maker made 3" size baby pancakes which looked barely cooked. The best products were clementines and bananas, yogurts. Juices and coffee were available. We used the free shuttle and it was a 10-min drive from the airport. Sadly I had to wait at least 5min before someone picked up the call...I called to know where we needed to pick up the shuttle. I think the shuttle runs only every one per hour, so it would suck to miss the previous one by a few.minutes. airport pick up was at :45min of the hour. The morning drive to the airport was at :30min of the hour (also one shuttle per hour). Is Vancouver that expensive? It seemed to me that this hotel was overpriced for what we got.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights and had a decent visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to parking our large suv. The hotel was under renovation at the time so no judgement there. I was however disappointed in the state of our bathroom. The bathtub had dirt or mold in the corners and that made its way to the floor and ceiling corners as well. The last thing I want to point out is the parking option. There is a small garage under the building with very limited space, especially for large vehicles. Parking suggestions should be advise when booking so people can have better expectations upon arrival. All in all our stay was average.

This hotel was nice. Undergoing renovation. Good breakfast. Quiet area.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, their dinner recommendation was excellent. Under renovation just now but that didn't interfere with our stay.

Just a low quality hotel. It was clean but just not nice or comfortable.

On going construction. So lobby was not functional. I wanted a drink and was told to walk 10 mins to a store. The breakfast space is so small. Guests bumped into each other and others couldn't find a seat. I appreciated the hotel shuttle to the airport. It was convenient for us in the morning to get to the airport. Its a pricey hotel but for Vancouver it was at the lower end. Vancouver is generally expensive.

The listings said nothing about the hotel being under renovation. When we checked in, i checked under the mattress and found dirty towls with a mysterious stain on them and sheets. These looked like they had been under the mattress for a long time. Even though the sheets on the bed were freshly made. When I went downstairs to get either a new room or to at least have it cleaned. I was told there was no more available rooms and the best they could do was have housekeeping come clean it. When the 2 house keepers came in, they didnt greet us and looked annoyed. Not responding to us. They only talked to each other in spanish. I speak spanish even though I am Caucasian, I grew up in south Texas and was able to understand their conversation. At one point they said to each other in a mocking town. What customers look under the bed? Conplaining that they had to clean the bed and the dirty laundry that was hidden underneath.

The room is small but in a convenient location in Richmond near the Skytrain station. It's under renovation now, but it's still okay for a layover.
