This hotel was perfectly located for our visit to the Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Quay shopping and Portsmouth and Southsea train station. We stayed here for 3 nights with our 6 year old grandson. The room was ok, with the sofa bed down (our grandson used it) as a bed the room was cramped but we were only using the room to sleep so it was ok. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time in the dockyard and would definitely consider this hotel again in the future. The only thing to note is the hotel is pet friendly so may not be for everyone.

Our stay was very good the room was very clean and staff were good when we asked for extra pillows, the reception was very good and was helpful, breakfast was very good with a good selection.

Check in person was excellent. He ensured we were aware of what benefits we were entitled to even volunteering to ensure that a breakfast was available on our departure before the kitchen formally opened. Otherwise the hotel is no frills but clean and serves its purpose for the odd night

The hotel is well located in a busy modern designer precinct and close by to the Old Historic Port of Portsmouth. The room was more than adequate for our needs with one exception. The room was a double for two people occupancy, but only one chair provided. However, no different to other hotels we have stayed in. Maybe one day the hotels will realise that both occupants require to sit down. The staff were excellent, very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Even pointed out which restaurants, in the area offered discount to guests of the hotel. The breakfast, which was included in the price of the room was excellent. Although a buffet, it had a very varied range to suit most diners and appetites

Good place to stay if you want to be central. Parking is in the main car park underneath the shopping mall. Check in was easy and quick. The only minor issue is breakfast. Not enough tables and the quality of food wasn't great. Some residents had nowhere to sit anf i think you could split some of the tables for four into two's so that more couples can sit separately. Never easy when strangers ask to share your table. The ground floor are also had a funny smell as you walkied through. Not sure what was causing the odd smell. Our room had a great view of spinnaker tower. Would stay again but hope you sort the breakfast issues.

Lovely stay Staff nice & friendly Only down side we asked for a beer glass for room & what she gave us can only be described as disgustingly filthy! We washed it with water in room and dried with white towel & towel was brown. This is how bugs are caught. Such a shame

Asked for glass for Room reception happily obliged. When we got to room it looked filthy so wiped with water & white towel and shocked by colour of towel! This is why people get sick! Well situated nr shops & parking good. Reception staff polite & helpful
