The hotel is in the best possible location for Bibury and exploring nearby villages. Super friendly welcome for us and our dog. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea there.
Lots of quality bits from the Nespresso, to the Milton Brown goodies in the bathroom.
Breakfast was tasty with a continental buffet pre hot food.
Only downside is our room was like a furnace despite turning the radiators down - opened the windows and it was then fine.
I can see how parking would be a challenge in peak time (summer) but in winter it was fine.

Thanks for the amazing front desk staff and restaurant staff ( especially breakfast). We had a fantastic staycation with out 5 years old. The room decoration, bathroom facility and outdoor was magical.

A beautiful hotel with gorgeous manicured grounds. The dining room choices were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this establishment.

Gorgeous experience! Perfect location to walk all around town. Restaurant on site or walking distance. We had one of the very spacious cottages. The 1st floor is a living room and going up the winding stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. Parking is onsite and whoever gets there first. Right across the street is a wonderful walk along the water that is filled with swans and ducks.
Cute bar and outside patio with beautiful flowers. Staff are great especially Maria who is always everywhere being helpful with a beautiful smiling face! We really enjoyed our vacation time from the USA - thank you!

Our room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. We slept comfortably and peacefully in the large bed, and were ready to eplore Bibury after a delicious breakfast. I must compliment the staff on their attentiveness and kindness, they made our weekend stay truly wonderful.

Amazing location and great service. One or two things amiss at dinner (forgot a couple of things) but made amends. Also check the bill! We were given someone else’s at check-out. Human error an certainly not a deal-breaker.
The cottage rooms are lively but do lack some amenities: there is no fridge and no hanging space for clothes.
Also there is a gap in the front garden hedge of Trumpeter cottage that a small dog (like our cockapoo) could escape through. We informed them and should be an easy fix.

Only downside is lack of A/C. This is a problem in June when we stayed. Everything else was lovely.

This was such a majestic hotel. It was a beautiful mixture of both quaint and elegant which is very fitting for the Cotswolds. The food at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic

From the moment we stepped into reception the courtesy & friendliness was second to none.
The only improvement we would like to see would be a bar menu for the evening when a 3 course meal would be too much. A ploughman’s or sandwich would be ideal.

The Swan is one of the prettiest hotels I’ve stayed at. The hotel is beautiful and the surroundings are gorgeous. Lovely staff and accommodations. I highly recommend this hotel!

We wanted to visit to beautiful Cotswold village of Bibury and the Swan Inn is right in the centre. Everything is very close. The property is full of character and the service excellent. Our room was spotless, with large bathroom and homely atmosphere. The breakfast was very generous. Highly recommended

Generally good stay. But visitor information was poor eg no guide to the hotel facilities such as times, menu and local facilities eg doctor. Room layout was perhaps cramped with restricted area for making drinks etc. Also no biscuits provided. Sickly chocolates instead! Towel rail inadequate so we couldn’t dry towels.
Breakfast selection was very poor eg no cereals offered apart from stodgy, cold porridge. Overdone streaky bacon every day! The dining room was cold!

The location and situation of the Swan hotel are exceptional. It is well positioned and boasts an impressive view over the River Coln and the surrounding plain.
Staff overall very good service.
Negatives were the natural light in the room is poor. We ordered the crochets from the starters menu which were tiny and for £8.50 are a rip off, just remove from the menu.
Overall very satisfied with the hotel and was worth the money.

Beautiful setting and facilities let down by mediocre dinner service and below par food.
Dinner of 2 courses took 2 hours to complete. Missing cutlery, condiments and crockery at dinner and breakfast.
