Hotel was in a nice location convenient to shopping, activities and restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!!!

The app states breakfast included this is the reason I purchased this hotel. The only breakfast was one you had to pay for. Charged a ridiculous amount for incidentals.

The room seemed old and the beds were not very comfortable

The room was hot and the air conditioner wasn’t helping. We were told if you set the thermostat below 68 the air would not work. We tried that to no avail. The window would only open about 2 inches. I do get the safety aspect of that. At our request, they provided us a fan which helped a little.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and it continues to downgrade. The room we stayed in (221) has some sort of structural cracking in the wall where the headboards are, the wall paper in the bathroom is peeling and old, the carpet was dirty and the overall presentation of the room itself was old, outdated and rough. The carpets in the hallways leading to the rooms is gross as well and is curling and wavy from who knows what and stained everywhere. It truly needs an upgrade. I did not feel comfortable even looking at the pool area because the rest of the place has gotten so bad over the years. This really needs to be addressed because I will not stay there again and I am guessing others will feel the same way.

My room had not been vacuumed. There was lint on the floor and some kind of “potato chip fries” under the coffee table. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfy with nice sheets. No sheer curtains just blackout. No recycling! Plastic bags in every trash can.

Needs maintenance and wifi

I don’t normally leave negative reviews when I stay hotels. Especially holiday ends are usually have a really good experience, but this one was the worst experience we’ve ever had. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We had people arguing all night long above us. I had brought this to the attention of the person working at the desk. They did not suggest moving us, or anything of the sort. Also, the restaurant was closed most of the time that we were there, which is understandable if it’s short staffed, but advertisement showed that it was gonna be open. The lack of customer service was absolutely horrendous. Nobody smiled. Nobody welcomed us. They seemed completely annoyed that we even showed up. Never experienced this kind of service in my life. I can absolutely say we will never be back to this particular Holiday Inn. Also, somebody’s phone was ringing for at least eight hours during the night. Also, the wash machine was either not working correctly. It was vibrating our room all night long. We decided not to even say anything to the front desk as we were not treated with respect at all when we checked in. They acted like nothing even matter that we were even there. Spent almost $600 never again.

Normally, I don’t like to submit bad reviews, but I do think there’s a lot of room for improvement at this property. Our room had dog food on the floor in it when we had come in, which was a lil gross (even as someone who is a huge dog lover/owner) and the mattress was super old and uncomfortable. We were told we would have a microwave In our room when we made the reservation, but there wasn’t one. Generally, room really could have used some updates, furniture was pretty worn with the exception of the desk chair. Front Desk Staff during the day was great but night time staff was pretty cold and unfriendly. No free breakfast which I find odd nowadays, particularly with an IHG property. Landscaping (the grass on the front of the property in particular) on the property was pretty overgrown with sharp weeds which our dog kept getting pricked by. Only water fountain on-site was broken and had warm water coming out of it. Just seems pretty neglected.

Got food poisoning from the restaurant and had to cut my stay short because the noxious bleach odor made breathing difficult. I didn't have a phone in my room and the girl at the front desk was helpless and never got me one.

Shower got water all over floor. Not set up right for the type of shower.

Hot tub was down, there was no breakfast included even though my booking said there was. Was moved rooms due to a water leak ave was rushed to do so. Dinner was not included and kids did not eat free even though that is what was promoted. Very disappointing and house cleaning never came to my room.

Restaurant was great

The stay at the hotel would have been perfect, but the hot tub was out of order. This might seem like a minor issue, but I booked this hotel because of the hot tub.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Check in and check out were fast. Room was clean and in good shape. Bed was not amazingly comfortable, but was not terrible either. Room was very clean.

Reserved the Hilltop Suite for New Years Eve with the Mrs. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I was running a little early,the extremely helpful gentleman at the front desk allowed me to check in early which I really appreciated. Noon checkout was what made this property my go to for NYE. My only complaint was housekeeping knocked on the door twice around 11&again at 11:30. I understand they simply wanted To get the room clean but checkout is noon and I had the DND sign on the door.
