This was our 6th time in San Jose Del Cabo and our 6th time at Cabo Azul! It is just the perfect spot and we wouldn't even consider staying any place else! The rooms are huge and always spotless. The pool/beach area is the best. The service is over the top! We love it!

Lovely property & the staff were just so wonderful. Extremely expensive food & drink. Jr suite do NOT have kitchenettes, like most do. Don’t expect good views. Hilton Vacation club owners have preference. I own 2 timeshares in Cabo but wanted to try this location & property.

Overall had a very good experience at the property. Staff was very friendly, room was spacious with a nice view and service was very good. Only issue was we did not get our room serviced even though we had exited our room before noon and did not have a do not disturb sign on our door. After being gone all day we didn’t know that our room was skipped, even though they had the ability to text my phone and had texted me with other information. Forthbately they serviced our room during turndown service. Would recommend this hotel as it’s in a gr at location, it’s spacious and the pools and beaches are nice.

This is the second time staying at this resort, and the service has been impeccable. We extended our stay for two more nights, and the staff was kind to pack up our things and move it to our new room. This is a must stay.

I stay at 15+ hotels a year. This is my all time favorite. Incredible building, pools and staff. The only downside is the beach is not really safe to swim at but thats most beaches in cabo. Better off swimming in the amazing pools.

Really poor customer service. Mèxico generally has a high level of customer service but this property really, truly sucks. The personal Doesn’t care about helping or answering to any of your needs. I asked not to get housekeeping service (they asked if I wanted and I said no) and they came every day regardless. First day we went to the pool and asked for towels and they said we had to wait for 45 min because they were all dirty and were washing them (!!!). They won’t give you any free drinkable water and you have to buy plastic bottles if you want to drink water (I don’t like to buy plastic so I brought a water bottle to refill. Even in the restaurant or bar they said they didn’t have any potable water to give). It’s a really low, poor quality hotel at an overrated price. Very disappointed and never coming back

The property was well maintained with excellent staff. Everyone around was courteous and helpful. The best part was the beach activities center and the fun staff there. We had an unforgettable experience due to activities like Aqua biking, beach volleyball, loteria etc. The swimming pools were well maintained and the slides on the kids pool made for a splash. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting san jose del cabo.

We have stayed in Cabo Azul five times in the past hour years and this was the first visit under the Hilton ownership. There are good and bad things - the beach area is just as nice. We love the cabanas - The newly opened Javier restaurant is amazing! - the resort was very crowded vs past experiences - Food and beverages are way more expensive - misquotes are a real problem now. Fumigation did not help and it was no fun Despite the cons we will be back. Mostly since we have such great memories

I didn't have high expectation from the hotel but since it was a family event. I am a Hilton diamond member. From the moment we walked into the hotel, I didn't get a smile from any of the staff from bell service to check in. I was assigned into a suite right by the driveway of the front entrance with renovation in the building. I immediately went and asked to change of room. The front desk told me that "the resort is almost sold out" and there was no other rooms available. I suggested upgrading but she then said there is no room available at all. She didn't suggest possible a change on the next day. I mentioned for being a member and she said the resort doesn't care. Of course, the renovation was jamming while we were there! The front desk contacted me after 2 days of my stay after seeing my review on expedia. It is just too late by then.

* Very Disappointed * I booked a pool view room but when we were escorted to our room, the pool view room was not the same one that they showed in the picture on Expedia, it was a smaller pool and our view was a building of rooms across from us. I feel it was the old bait and switch. When I complained about the room I was not given another option. I felt that the customer service was very poor also. I also found the food and drinks very expensive. They also do not supply any bottled water but sell high end Fuji water costing $12 US dollars. I would recommend staying at an all inclusive resort even if it costs you a little more in the long run you will end up saving money and having a better experience :)

We stay here 3-6 times a year and have never had anything bad to say about this resort. It’s amazing. Relaxing and peaceful. Music is low and very spa like on the grounds. Rooms are lovely. Great place with or without kids. Easy walk to Art District for the Thursday night festivities. Best resort ever

Lovely property with great people

This is the most expensive property I’ve ever stayed in Cabo. They charge you $12 a beer to be brought to your room and eight dollars for water. It’s ridiculous. There’s a lot more better hotels you can stay in while you’re here for a lot less money I have money and I still think this place is freaking ridiculous. It’s cheaper to stay in Hawaii that it is to stay down here, check out other hotels you might like them a lot better

Beautiful grounds, great staff, comfortable room and walkability to restaurants and shopping make this a 5 star. Restaurants in the resort were quite pricey but the staff and atmosphere were top notch!

I enjoyed the property. Would have been nice if it had a few more restaurants. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property was extremely clean, the grounds were beautiful

My only real complaint was the construction going on next to my room located at the end of the building. My room and the entire resort was incredibly beautiful, clean and well tended to...but I was placed in a room next to active construction without any communication or warning from the front desk. One day it sounded like a tile saw cutting for hours.I couldn't have napped even with ear plugs, it was that loud. They offered to move me, but this was day 3 and I had no desire to repack and move for my remaining 3 days. The offer to allow me a late check out was appreciated.

We had an excellent stay at Cabo Azul!

Property has the most beautiful pools and hot tubs ,rooms are clean and comfortable ,beds are very comfortable . Food and drink prices are rediculous- happy hour is a joke two tiny margaritas instead of one larger one or two crappy small draft beers.

Our stay here was amazing. The food and drinks in the hotel were quite expensive so budget properly for that. However the condition of the property was amazing with lots of amenities (ie. luxurious beach chairs, rooms were very spacious with big balcony, amazing gym, etc.). The service was incredible. I would definitely recommend staying here.
