Took forever to check in, problems with computer. Tv was a nightmare even though we were given different remote control. Water for tea wasn’t hot and coffee pot was empty so has to wait for it to be refilled. Just little things. Staff was pleasant and they did try to help. Not the usual great stay at the Hampton Coldwater.

I have been traveling from Arizona and for a small town it was quite pricey

It was safe and quiet.

Not too bad. Little older but I’m ok condition still. Service is good. Front desk agent was good and she was sweet. Always a good start to your stay when the front desk people are welcoming. The building could have been built a little better as I could hear my neighbors, but it is what it is. It was still a good stay.

Very nice place with helpful staff. Restaurants nearby and our room was very pleasant with a jacuzzi in the room.

The bathroom could use a little upgrade or TLC. The one thing we really look at when we are on the road is the bathroom and the bedding/mattress. Those are two things a traveler would consider the most. Otherwise it was excellent!

Were told they didn't have towels, two people had share 2 towels for 3 days. Pool needed to be cleaned.

The room and linens were clean. The bathroom appeared to be recently redone. The carpets were clean, however had a few damaged spots at the entry way.

Lady at desk very helpful and sweet . Couldn't find my reservation at first , gave conformation code and was able to find it . System said they had no jacuzzi rooms left ( which is what I reserved and PAID for ). While trying to figure out what to do next , System updated and said jacuzzi room was available AND ready . Got to room and it was NOT ready . Towels all over floor bed a disaster . The lady at front desk did her best to fix issue . Room was done a hour after check-in . No management in days from what I've heard while walking around . Did enjoy the room and stay once issues were figured out .

Very expensive for the room we had. The sofa was broken, dirty and you wouldn’t want to sit on it… Gross!!! The bad linens were cheap and dirty looking. Felt terrible to sleep in. Mattress was uncomfortable, pillows were uncomfortable and cheap. Check in lady was Very Nice and Respectful

We arrived at 310 pm and was told no rooms were ready yet from the manager. I ask the reason and was told its not ready. She was very rude, We had drove 9 hrs and looking forward to resting and enjoying the whirlpool. Several other guest arrived to find out there rooms were not ready as well. They canaled there rooms. We waited for 1 hour and 23 mins and i had walked down the hall an ask one of the cleaning lady's how much longer and she told us the room have been ready for over a hour that the lady manager at front desk hadn't even cleared the rooms cleaned. She left abuoy 410 pm and this poor young lady caught all the grief over the rooms. The young lady cleared the room and we went to room at 430 pm. to find bed covers we`re just pulled up over the bed and shower had a dirty towel laying in the floor with the door closed. A young lady came down an went over our room and did best she could. so our trip for that night -10 . will never visit there again. We moved to Holiday Inn next door for rest of our stay.. Wasted 200 bucks for a dirty room and rude manager. -10 grade.

We enjoyed our two night stay in this motel. The motel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The full breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold items. I was not able to give an excellent rating for the room because the light was burned out over the sink in the bathroom, and the room phone did not work. Both of which were a minor inconvenience. I would recommend this motel to others.

Excellent staff efficient kind friendly. Fresh fruit and lobbies cat treats dog treats and human treats. Hotel is very clean well maintained.. We'll be back.

The first room we occupied had a door that would not lock. We were unable to leave the room with our belongings inside. They moved us to an upgraded room (with a spa tub). The room was nice except for the wet, sticky mess in front of the desk in the carpet. I discovered this mess in my socks much to my chagrin. After the day we had, we just soaked in the tub and went to bed. Nice place, needs proper maintenance. MAKE SURE YOUR DOOR LOCKS! Let's end this review with the fact that the staff I encountered were fantastic. I am sure they would have addressed the second room issue if I had the time or patience to go through it.

Staff was great; bed was comfortable; breakfast buffet was the icing on the cake. Fitness room could use a little attention - only two treadmills and one was out of service; stationary bike needed a tune up. Hand wipes were so dry they were useless. But for a business trip to Hillsdale College, the stay was pleasant and just fine.

Incredibly clean, beautiful, spacious room. Front desk lady was a breath of fresh air which is what we needed after being temporarily displaced due to power outages. Wish we had chosen room there for the other 2 nights. Definitely would have been worth the $40 we saved at a cheaper(price and run down looks) hotel

The room with a whirlpool tub was absolutely amazing. Room was clean with plenty of towels, staff was very kind.

Good and comfortable property. Only complaint would be that we had a room with a spa bathtub and it only came with ONE bath towel. Not an appropriate amount of towels for a SPA Tub.

Not 1 issue with my stay, i will definitely be back when im in the area.

Check in process was easy and staff were friendly

Our room was on the first floor by the side entrance. We heard the door open and shut all night. Then at 5.00 am, it started again.

The check in was without any drama. Vanessa was great in giving us a lower floor room. However when we asked for a receipt the following morning, the cashier absolutely refused to comply. Said it was not company policy when booked 3rd party. I explained that every other Hampton Inn during our week, graciously gave us paperwork. She was adamant to the point of almost getting rude. We would NOT stay at this Hampton again when we come to MI. We did not have any problems with Holiday Inn Express!

If your there for your ten and have to start early 3:00 am they'll make you up a breakfast to go. I loved all the space, especially bathroom and comfortable bed and just the whole layout of the room
