The customer service received was disappointing.

I walked into a death trap. First off the lobby of this hell hole is very nice. I walked into the room and was like what the hell. I spent $1400 for a four day stay and the bed was rock hard. The bathroom sink and tub were clogged. I tried calling the front desk but it's a hit or miss with the phone. On day two housekeeping threw away my medication (accidents happen). I had an allergic reaction then realized that my medication was missing. My partner went to the front desk and the nonchalant front desk agent sent him to another building to get a nurse. The nurse wasn't there. Another guest happened to be eavesdroping and was nice enough to give him some benadryl. Management staff were not very helpful that night but the next day covered in hives I spoke to a general manager who apologized. He sent maintenance to repair the sink and tub and bought me some antihistamine medication. Then I guess as a peace offering a fruit platter and champagne were sent to our room. I don't consume alcohol and I told them repeatedly that I am allergic to pineapple. On that fruit platter were two large chunks of pineapple. Guess they were trying to finish me off. On my last night someone from guest services then sent a letter to my room claiming that they have been trying to reach me. The letter asked that I contact guest services via phone. Fourteen calls later a young lady answered and asked what the hotel could do to make my last few hours better. This had to be a joke.

The mattress was god awful. worst 3 night sleep ever. Everything else fine. Customer services is not available at the this resort. dont look for it.

Where to start? If you are looking for an experience this is not the place to go honestly the worst we checked out the Same night we checked in

Good Activities, beach access, friendly staff

This property is not 5 star in my opinion, the food was average, the property is crawling with stray cats. The only thing I liked about this property was the staff members.

The staff were amazing! The property was clean the food was A1, 10/10. Were from toronto canada , here with my best friends mom and her little brother. So accommodating , to all ages. The entertainment team is so engaged theyre doing a great job here. Sad because ive never seen this hotel after all the years ive been booking trips here. Definitely recommend!

I didn’t like the fact that there is no room service available. And all the restaurants except buffet required reservations

This was like my 5th time to Iberostar Montego Bay. I always stay at the Suites but at a last minute getaway for a cheaper price, I chose the Beach property. This property is more exposed to outdoor air (hallways to room). Ice machines didn’t work.I had to go to two floors to find a working water cooler and the water comes out warm The resort and room was kept very clean. Staff do an amazing job cleaning around the property and after guest. The whole resort lost power multiple times during one evening and we found ourselves eating with the flashlight from our phones in the buffet hall. After we were scared to take the elevator with fear of being stuck. We weren’t a fan of the menu at the Smokehouse restaurant. Thanks God there’s always something at the buffet hall. We really enjoyed the themes they put on there for meals. Breakfast was good but not many meat options for non pork eaters. The entertainment staff wasn’t the best as compared to the staff at Suites in previous years. Many nights we found ourselves amongst people looking for things to do on property. We often sat around the pool at night. Drink service on the beach was very scarce but luckily the two bars near the pool were close. I enjoyed the ice cream parlor. Many other guest we spoke to didn’t know about the free shuttle to the Shoppes plaza. It’s a tourist trap but good to get off property. Unfortunately I left almost $200 in souvenirs in my room after checking out and didn’t realize until unpacking at home.

The property is the first of three Iberostars in this location. This location seemed more geared towards families because there were lots of children there although the adjacent location with suites was for families. We were shocked to learn that there was no room service. All food options were unavailable on site after 10pm which was disappointing. Most nights when we travel abroad we like to sleep in and party late. The highlight of our stay was the Catamaran cruise that included snorkeling and swimming as a gift for attending a presentation. Overall our stay was very relaxing & enjoyable.

What i love about the property It very clean and peaceful.

This is not a five star resort. The service is slow and the workers are extremely rude. The food is constantly the same and is very underwhelming.

Not a 5 star hotel. More like 3 star. Forget relaxing by the beach as locals will be constantly bothering you to buy stuff. Rooms are falling apart.. food was ok..

Some of the staff went above and beyond and some wouldn’t even give u the time of day it does need a lot of updating elevators not working half the time but other than that it was ok

This resort was amazing. I’ve never stayed at an all inclusive, but this was pretty much all I could ask for. Rooms were being renovated in certain areas, so I appreciate them taking interest in keeping the accommodations up to date. My room was great, the food was delicious all around and the drink service was great as well. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and courteous and everyone just wants to have a good time.

Hands down my favorite resort. All of the staff is amazing and friendly! Your stay is for sure what you choose to make of it. From the fitness center to the activity staff they keep you active and entertained from morning until night. We will continue going back to this resort again and again!

Guest and buffet staff were rude. Party on the beach until 11PM. Rooms are not sound proof. HR was no help.

Like the fact that the hotel is caring for the environment. Food was great. Loved the wide selection of meals served…. Did not like some of of the staffs attitude. Some of the staff in the main cafeteria was unfriendly. Some of the staff in the child care were untrained and I did not feel confident leaving my kids there. One of the staff grabbed the sign in paper from me and was annoyed at me because I was not filling the paper out the way in should. Very in unprofessional.
