We stayed overnight to celebrate an anniversary. The room was nice, but the wear and tear was obvious. Scuffed up furniture, damaged walls and end tables. This hotel could definitely use somw tlc or a little upgrade, as it has been in operation for quite a while now. The room was pretty clean, but i did find a few long black hairs (neither of us have long dark hair) on the bedspread, which was a little off putting. My suggestion would be more pillows, they were very flat, and a bigger more substantial blanket. It was very thin and flimsy and not comforting at all. Overall it was a good experience. Parking and checking in was smooth, the hotel was quiet, and we enjoyed the area around the hotel as it was a beautiful evening. The cost to park overnight, 20 bucks, seems a bit excessive after what you pay for the room.. but thats just my opinion.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Comfortable bedding and each room is big enough to be a small apartment, equipped with small fridge, microwave, sink, countertop range, etc. The small pool was less than desirable, appearing dirty. This hotel was not quite finished with construction yet, however, once it is, it will be a 5 star hotel! The location is ideal, in the center of it all in the Burgh!

The matress I slep on was terrible. It was slanted and I felt like I was falling out of bed all night.

Front desk staff members were incredibly responsive when we made inquiries or requests - excellent. The housekeeping policies were not a plus: towels replaced on the third day, sheets after 5 days except on request. There was no scheduled trash pickup: for a suite with a full kitchen, automatic daily trash collection would have been preferable. But again, when we requested extra sheets and trash pickup, the front desk acted immediately. Kudos to them.

Waterfront hotel with views of the river. Directly across from fun areas for family or couples. Everything was clean, polite staff. Rougher parking garage with small spaces but able to park on-site which is appreciated. We will return during the summer for more walkable fun!

Wonderful stay. The parking garage is small and somewhat difficult to maneuver through, just a warning as I was not expecting it to be that difficult to park.

My family and I had a short stay here as we passed through Pittsburgh on our road trip. We were very pleased with this hotel.
The staff were accommodating and able to answer all our questions. The room was clean, it slept 4 people comfortably.
I would definitely revisit Hyatt House in Pittsburgh.

Do not recommend! They charged me a smoking fee just for leaving a small line of an ash on a table. We smoked outside of the property and placed a smoking product on the table when we came back in. They even said the room did not smell of smoke, and sent me a picture of a small black line on someones finger after the swiped a table. RIDICULOUS! Charged me $214! Never again

Everything was nice, the bar was under construction making the lobby area slightly less appealing. Nice pool the kids enjoyed. Was suprised by the $20/day parking garage fee. The room was nice. I would liked to be able to stream kids shows on the tv in the room though.

Julian provided great service! Computer systems not working properly at check in. Room is lovely, but the bed and pillows were terrible. I only slept for about 3.5 hours. Hard as rocks. Sofa comfort was not much better. Would love to stay here again, but without sleep, I’m going to have to look somewhere else. 🙁

Hotel is in a nice neighborhood loved how everything you need is walkable such as restaurant's and shopping stores. The only downfall in our stay was that every night our bathroom smelled like marijuana and made the room smell like it as well since the bathroom’s have connected vent. Definitely unpleasant odor with our child. The smell was overwhelming and it happened each night of our stay. Overall nice hotel and shout out to the guy in the bar he was really nice !!!

We chose to stay here because of its close proximity to great dining options. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was the best hot breakfast we’ve ever had at a hotel.

The front desk staff was very friendly, the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was satisfying. My only disappointment was the TV options. I suggest adding HGTV, Netflix or similar channels.

The hotel was ok. The bar was being remodeled. There is no restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was subpar at best and the tv selection is HORRIBLE!!!
