Very pleasant room and atmosphere. Loved our ocean view. Enjoyed the peaceful vibe and location.

Cozy, comfy, clean, adorable inn steps from the beach. Great price for off-season, decent continental breakfast (please get better coffee though!) and a perfect little beach cove for surfers and dogs. We had a great time.

Loved our room. Had a great balcony and view of the beach. The inn was clean and within walking distance to shops and even more stunning ocean views. Our room was a little chilly (my husband is never warm enough) but, the staff gave us an extra comforter and that was great. Convenient location to explore both Capitola and Santa Cruz.

The property is very beautiful. During the summer or when the weather is better, it must be nice to sit outside, enjoy a fire and look at stars while listening to the surf.

Great cozy location with easy access to everything you’re looking for in the area. We loved the community deck overlooking the waves and cove and the breakfast was great for a continental. It was very comfortable! Loved having a little kitchen and our room had a jetted tub!

Good stay!

Matress was soft with no lumbar support, wifi sucks, says it has beach access and it doesn’t, unfinished room, had a roofing company fixing shingles and it was loud

Dawn was very nice.

I have a dog that goes everywhere with me, and she requires some ‘space’ to get acclimated. We had our own little patio/yard and unit #10 could not have been more fun for two adults and a dog. It’s in the near everything you’d want and has a great vibe.

It was clean, quiet and 3 minutes away from a beautiful beach. This was a last minute reservation, and we were really impressed. They are also pet freindly, which is important to us. We will be back.

Quaint hotel, have done some nice updates, different types of rooms/cottages, near beach, nice basic breakfast offered, awkward parking. Bed wasnt too comfy, lots of spiders outside our front door, no housekeeping, overpriced for what it is, some rooms are dog friendly but $50 per night per dog seems excessive. Can be a little loud from beach noise at times.

Super nice and clean. It’s like 200 yards to the beach. Staff was super nice.

Management was amazing, comfortable accommodations with everything I needed. Short stroll to the beach. A little warm during the day, fine at night. Being able to have my puppy with me made a world of difference. Thank you for a great trip!

This is really hard for me to write, as I like to recommend and compliment businesses, but this needs to be said to help others make an informed decision of whether they want to stay here or not. I recommend to NEVER go here.! The rooms are old, poorly maintained and unhealthy. We stayed one night in June. We walked in and immediately saw bugs on the pillows. The room was over $500.00 and it didn’t dawn on me, that it could have been bed bugs. We did try to tell someone immediately, but no one was in the office and we were busy as there was a big “0” birthday the next day for our friend. Then we noticed a septic/sewage smell in the bathroom, (never used the bathroom), flickering lights in the bedroom, a ceiling fan that wouldn’t turn on, a tremendous gas smell when the heater was turned on… as I am writing this, I wonder why we even tried to sleep one night. I had a terrible headache through the night and I was woken up by an ear piercing carbon dioxide poisoning alarm going off in our room. I ran outside in my pajamas, where I stayed for an hour waiting for someone to turn it off and fix it. Another guest from another room also ran out of her room, saying the same thing happened to her the last time she stayed and she was just giving it one more try. The carbon monoxide alarm was reset several times and put back in the room, only to keep going off again and again. We packed up our things and left in my pajamas to go home… only to drive all the way back for the birthday event

Charming gem of a place in a quiet location, just a few minutes away from a small beach cove.

We were not told until we arrived,That there would be a half marathon and the roads would be blocked off and we would not be able to leave in our Vehicle for 4hrs

Hotel staff was great but when I got to my room I saw I had two twin beds put together instead of a king size bed, which is what I paid for. Two night stay and it was the most uncomfortable bed. We didn’t sleep well and both have sore backs.

Great getaway!! Nice location and breakfast was good!! Staff was very friendly.

A wonderful spot for our four nights in Santa Cruz, which itself has so much to offer. As it’s not yet high season, we had the inn virtually to ourselves, along with the cheerfully attentive and accommodating staff. We brought our dog with us ($50 / night fee) - Sunny Cove Beach is a two minute stroll away. The kitchenette is very well equipped and the daily continental breakfast offered lots of good options. We hope to return, soon!

The breakfast was nice.
Small room and can hear neighbours in the hall, noises at night with windows open. Clean.

This is our new favorite place to stay while in Santa Cruz. The rooms are cozy, and it’s a short walk to the beach. We love that we can have a camp fire on the beach near by.

It was a nice place and location. The cottage we stayed in was a strange set up for us. The beds were squeaky. The parking isn’t great. The signal for the phones is lacking. We loved the closeness to the beach. It was nice and quiet at night. Overall a good stay with somethings we didn’t love.

Very cute and clean hotel! The proximity to the beach was amazing! It took about a minute to be on the beach from the hotel. There is a Starbucks that is also a quick minute away by foot, and some other things. They have onsite seating areas to enjoy as well.

This adorable hotel literally has it's own steps down to the cutest little beach/cove (fantastic for boggie boarding). At the end of the block is a starbucks and around the block is a beautiful HUGE beach that was nearly empty on one of the busiest summer weekend days ever (seems to be because there is no parking lot nor street parking for this large beach, but you can leave your car at the hotel and simply carry you stuff the short walk). Cottage was cute- I didn't realize there was a ful kitchen to use in it as well.

Staff was very friendly, not a lot of frills, great location
Uncomfortably concerned about guests getting the bath towels dirty. They charge xtra ($25 ) if the bath towels get too dirty
I would go back for the location and friendly staff
