This place was actually better than I had even hoped. Really had a great time. Beautiful place and I really like the way the hotel is set up. Lots of places to just hang out and talk. I had a wonderful stay.

Very pretty hotel, just be aware that this area is cold and there is no heating in the rooms. Breakfast was great and I loved that there was hot water.

You have to wait until 9 am for a cup of coffe. Breakfast is just from 9 to 10.30 am. Very basic. No fruits . Just eggs, chilaquiles and beans.
No light for reading next to bed.

Right in the heart of Town 👍 Would recommend a cabin closer to “las piedras” área as not a whole lot goes on in Town, thought there would be more restaurants and bars! Very comfy beds! Antique style bath tub a plus! Breakfast was not good! Very thin walls can hear everything! But in general all good!

very nice hotel, interesting decor, great breakfast, lots of places to sit and have a nice time. The only thing we didn't like was that the pool didn't have a fence and the area was not illuminated well, so it was easy to fall in the pool at night on the way to the kitchen, and this is what happened to me

Muy buen servicio, esta ubicado a pocas manzanas de la plaza principal, solo el estacionamiento esta a dos cuadras del hotel lo que por la noche complica el traslado, pero en general muy acogedor.

Room was clean and comfortable, but some items need to be properly fixed/replaced. FYI no wifi available in large rooms. We had to go downstairs to use it. Night receptionist was courteous and helpful. We did not try their breakfast since we had to leave before breakfast was offered. Overall it was a great stay and we’d stay there again.

We loved our stay here! They even gave us a better room free of charge.
We were supposed to stay in the standard and they gave us a Junior which is a very nice upgrade with a bathtub in the room.
The pool wasn't open (I suppose due COVID, but the weather was a bit chilly so even if we could have used it, we wouldn't dip)
Other points:
- Breakfast was very good
- Reliable wifi
- Good location
- Beautiful hotel overall
- Free parking

The hotel was rustic and really charming. The style and design very typical of Tapalpa. There were actual old fashioned huge brass keys to the rooms instead of cards. Some amenities lacking, like a/c. The service was friendly enough but they treated the wifi code like a matter of national security, even though it was included in the room. The breakfast was only so-so. I would recommend eating in the town.

The pictures in internet about facilities are not real, the rooms are small and the view of the pool is not real

LOVE IT !!!!! The location is a block from downtown, the entire hotel is like in the old days, wood, clay tiles, super lovely hotel, and the door key is the old really old fashion key. The view was fabulous, very romantic. The whole staff is very friendly, and best part well if you have a car, they have parking which is hard to find in the town.

Great beautiful hotel with gorgeous rustic rooms. Great location next to plaza And restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet delicious.

Honestly i wasnt really expecting much for my 1500mxn but i was pleasantly surprised, everything from the big sincere smile from the lobby employee to the delicious breakfast was awesome.
The bed was great and everything was exceptionally clean, i would stay a whole week without issues.
i highly recommend it.

The rooms were exceptionally delightful. The fruit and muesli at breakfast was delicious but the bread and butter were not to our liking. The reception staff were ever so friendly, and did their best to make us feel at home. Without doubt this was an exceptional holiday and made even more memorable by the attentiveness and courtesy shown to us by the hotel staff. A special thanks to Guadalupe who more or less adopted us. We appreciated it hugely
