Rainbow Lodge is a budget accommodation. It is excellent for it’s price. Hot water, AC, clean, tours and scooters can be booked directly through them as well. The beds and pillows aren’t 5-star but I slept fine.

Quiet, have parking, spacious, friendly staff. 5-10 minutes walking to chenang beach.

Advantage: -The location is good where going to Pantai Cenang main street is quite near. - independent houses and you can park your rental cars outside the cottage. - big bathroom - away from noisy street Things to improve: - Thermal insulation ceiling should be installed in the room as hot weather interfered with the air-conditional cooling. - extra body soap and shampoo can be provided or saved in the cabinet - low water pressure for the bath (maybe at higher ground) - no signboard to indicate the location of premises

The location is perfect - close to the beach and far from the noise, view from the window, close to Night Market, The stuff is kind and helpful. Reserve a room and enjoy Langkawi:)

We were happy with our stay overall. The bungalow was nice if a little basic but that is what you expect with this type of accomodation. Staff were lovely and it was great to relax on our veranda which had a hammock. Unfortunately our stay was tainted by our noisy neighbours who were making noise right outside our bungalow till 3am one day and 5am the next. Even after asking them to keep it down the the first night we were ignored a had the same the next night. The property and staff were not at fault in any way however as the walls are so thin if you have inconsiderate people next door you will not sleep

Close to cenang strip & airport. Can park car in front of room. Staff is friendly & accomodates my late chkin at midnite due to delayed flight. Though its not 5 star comfort, for the price its value for money. If driving, might hv difficulties finding the place along small roads.

1. They don't serve you even water bottle. 1. During our 3 days stay, they haven't cleaned the room. 3. It was raining heavily and there was some leakage from the roof.

A great get-away at a relaxing beach location after the bustle of KL

We spent 7 days here. Large apartment with nice Pourch. Close to the Beach and Restaurants. Hotel Restaurant ran by Tony is very good. For the price, I consider this hotel to be a bargain. Would stay again.

We liked our stay very much, we were in one of those wooden houses. It is a little walk from restaurant street and beach, but not too much. Food in restaurant was nice! Lots of animals near like cows, birds, bunnies, rooster, cats. That was cool. Wooden house was cute but the room was super hot during daytime. We had to even use wet towels to cool our body because air-con was very weak. And there were window partly open so air-con couldn't work perfectly. Despite the "too hot inside the hotelroom", we liked our stay. Wifi is ok, not super fast. Wooden house is quite minimalist style inside and for that reason it is easier to keep clean. No animals or bugs inside, that is always good. Although the drain started to stink when we had stayed one or two nights. Some little things needed fixing, like showerhead etc.. No room cleaning at all. All in all we liked our stay mostly because situation is okay and atmosphere was nice.

Short stay for us but a very good experience especially for our kids. The family room we had was a stand alone traditional Malay house on stilts with its back overlooking a paddy field. Room was clean and neat. Except for the common area for food, there are no facilities. Great location, about 7 minutes' walk to the main road along Pantai Cenang.

Nice cottage

Nice staff. A very laid back place, close to Cenang Beach yest still quiet.

Excellent lodge (studio villa). Top quality free wifi, fridge, air con, mosquito net, and hammock on the terrace. Very Friendly and helpful owner and staff. 5 minutes walk to the main beach and main street with loads of restaurants/shops.

Worth the money I paid.

This was a basic cozy room very nice located. The staff was really helpful and let us check out late since there was a storm on the day we were leaving. The room was basic but very spacious and cleaned. The wifi was one of the fastest we've had in Malaysia which was nice in stormy days when all we can do was stay in and watch movies. Overall great stay.

We would definitely no recommend this hotel, unless money is the absolute priority for you. Cause for few more bucks you can find way better hotels nearby. The bed was awful (uncomfortable and dirty), towels were like 30 years old (my grandma uses such on her dog), no hot water in the shower, no shelves (not even simple ones). So you're getting an empty room with a bed, that's it.

We experienced friendly staff. Had an issue with the electric hot water system that was resolved promptly by the installation of a replacement unit. Cafe associated with the accommodation is run by others but again had friendly staff and was reasonably priced. We had a family unit with two queen sized beds but as only a couple only needed to use one of them which was lucky given that one was comfortable and the other would not have been as could feel the springs protruding. Tour desk and motorcycle hire also associated with the accommodation was also run by others but again staff were very friendly and helpful like everyone else at Rainbow Lodge.

We stayed 4 nights at Rainbow Lodge. It was situated only a couple of minutes from the beach and not far from many restaurants to choose from. However, our room wasn't clean and bed and pillows stank (!). The toilet wasn't really working and was out of order when we arrived. We only had a fan in our room but no air circulation outside the room made it really hot in there at night. Poor wifi even if we sat in the reception. Staff was friendly though.
