When i arrived, the room heater had the room temperature at nearly 80 F. I had to unplug the heat unit, open the balcony window, and leave for two hours before it was not so unbearably hot.

When Google searched about pet friendly, it showed that it was pet friendly and so I booked it. I called to confirm booking after they already took my payment and mentioned that it was not pet friendly. They couldn't reimburse me my money back because it was booked through a third party. I did not end up checking in because they could not do nothing about it and didn't even try to help me to even suggest another place to go, but brushed me off like they didn't even care. I had to go to cancel my whole trip because of this as there were no other places near by and was all booked. Happy family day......NOT...

Better than expected. The king suite was amazing. Outside of not having a door on the bathroom and no wash cloths or tea towels to clean up after dinner. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and the bed was incredible. Great value for price. Outside of the quirky Misses

There was a weird smell in the room as if it was not ventilated for days. Booked for a king bed but got a queen bed instead and when asked, that was apparently their king size. No elevator in the hotel.

It's clean and comfortable. Close to some restaurant few minutes drive to the lake. Good customer service. Free breakfast.

Property was clean, room was adequate as we just needed a bed to sleep in. Heater in the room was good, the only issue was the fan that only had two settings (on & loud or off & quiet) which made it difficult to sleep as it was either too loud to sleep, or too chilly to sleep.

For the price this hotel is perfectly fine. Can’t really comment on staff as only seen them when you check in and out. I was here for 5 nights and didn’t clean room once (not sure if I missed something where I had to request it). I do like that you get free breakfast from the restaurant so it’s all freshly cooked. The shower pressure is not great. The bed is comfy. Pillows are your standard garbage pillows like most hotels. The building is very old so you get all shorts of sounds. It’s like ghosts are living in the walls lol. It’s rundown but they try and make it presentable. Parking is not great if the hotel is full.

The service/ staff were very polite and accommodating.1st room was freezing to the point that the toilet water was frozen
We switched rooms with no issues with staff. 2nd room was dirty , hands prints on washroom door along with long black hair . Window had handprints and lips on it . There was garbage and stuff under the beds. The rooms were not dusted and the landlines didn’t work. Plus the hotel restaurant advertised open until 11:30 on weekends. But was closed at 7:30 pm. Rooms are outdated and there is no elevator. The wallpaper was all pealing not to mention the breakfast was limited and you can upgrade for extra charge.

Motel was excellent, we were facing the alley, lots of noise to whoever was down there.

This is clearly 3 stars hotel. The list of things to improve:
- carpet in our room was sticky and so dirty, our white socks were black on a bottom after walking there
- beds are so high. you have to jump on
- faucet in a bath is not attached and lose
- if you need crib for your infant you have to pay $20 extra
- no elevator and no one will help you with luggage
- breakfast not included

Rust under the sink in the bathroom (in clear view) and a little bit on the ceiling. Also, the patio door did not lock. (so very unnerving with kids)
Also, pay attention to your pillows they make a world of difference to one’s sleep.

Staff was so nice, the property was clean, parking was easy, and restaurant attached was really convenient (they have a pretty good breakfast buffet for a good price). Overall a really good place to stay if heading to sylvan lake, I will definitely be going back

We stayed for one night and had a great experience

This hotel is right across from the gorgeous walking path along the lake. It is about a 20 minute walk to the beach along the excellent walk/bike sidewalk. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was luxurious and clean. The attached restaurant served us an excellent curry! All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.
