Dog friendly- clean- quick check in! Spacious room! Feather pillows!!!!

This was a birthday gift for my wife. The hotel helped me with giving my wife the experience she deserved. We had a wonderful stay at The Asbury. The staff were all friendly and the hotel was well kept and our room was very clean. We look forward to staying there again!

Lousy WiFi, smoke alarm periodically flashed a green light all night, bathroom doors made a lot of noise when closing, property not located near much. Should have been priced better in January.

This was our first time staying At The Asbury and it did not disappoint we will definitely be returning .

The hotel has great common areas and activates it with live music, cool bars (lobby and rooftop) but very relaxed and not a total scene particularly during the off season (winter). Rooms are small and fairly modest in terms of furnishings but comfortable. Great for 1 person, ok for 2 or more. Although not a business hotel at all it is actually perfect for business travel in the area; very safe and accessible but with things to do right on property for down time.

Excellent hotel with so many surprises including the diner, bowling alley, live entertainment, pool and walking distance to many places... plus awesome retro design!

We stay here every year, and the service is always top tier. We booked during a busy time after the holidays and had a major household emergency that put a monkey wrench in our plans. Jack at the reservations desk was wonderfully patient in dealing with our changes. Our room was lovely—love the addition of the area rugs—bowling was awesome. The vibe here at the holidays is always fun and festive.

We LOVE The Asbury! We have visited SO many times and will continue to do so! We LOVE the dog ❤️🐾 friendly-ness of The Asbury, we bring our pitbull Mako every time and she gets abundant lovin’ everytime!

Our room was clean - no doubt about that. However there was trash left under the bench in the room and tape on the walls above the sink. Just small things that will not hinder any future decisions about staying there. Love the hotel! The Quad rooms are genius for friends trips.

We booked a Panoramic Suite for our wedding weekend. There were 3 weddings in the hotel this weekend, and the staff handled everything with professionalism and a smile. The room was nice with a wonderful view of the ocean. Each room has a record player and an assortment of Vinyl to play. Cool touch.

We did not like the strong smell of the cleaners used in the room. As we have some respiratory issues the smell was an irritant. Other than that, great stay!

Awesome hotel.

My biggest concern was the condition od the room. For the expensive room rates, the TV was not working, the heater was blowing out cold air and the auto on/off was not working correctly, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the rooms were extremely small. There was bery little room to move around, i felt abit claustrophobic. The staff wqs very “clickie” meaning multiple staff members would group together behind the counter and did not show an interest for guests when approaching the counter for questions. The cafe food was super expensive and very small portions, i got a veggie burger and it had no greens and/or organic ingredients. Bring your own food. Its not worth the money. I will not be staying at this place in the future. Better to go to the Ocean Club for similar rates. Also, th lobby had so many outside patrons, it was very public environment, great if you want to feel like walking into a public Starbucks. Not great of you wanted to get that luxury exclusive experience for the high expensive room rates.

Beautiful interiors, great amenities, lovely staff, conveniently located and dog friendly.

The staff was super accommodating especially since we forget several things and they delivered them right to our room.

Room was very large but felt a bit barren / sparse. Did not like the foam mattress, not comfortable at all, but the sheets, towels and robe were lovely, high quality. Bathroom was great. Lovely view out to the boardwalk and sea from the seating area. Given it was the off season, the place felt very empty, a bit of a ghost town. Greeting at check-in was lacklustre, until another guy showed up who was warm and friendly. The free pinball in the lobby was fun. Overall was just a bit underwhelmed; had been hoping for a bit more, but maybe there's a better vibe in the summer.

My third time staying at the Asbury. Very cool hotel with lots of room downstairs to lounge and have drinks. The staff is exceptional. It was a little quiet on a Sunday night. Went to the Dirty Honey concert at the connected venue, Asbury Lanes.Great place to see a show. The rooms are very nice and chic. Had breakfast at the diner, which was mediocre. Will definitely stay there in the future.

Not happy

This is a fabulous hotel! Modern and fresh. Rooms are clean, dogs are treated with upmost respect!

On site wedding and the hotel was comfortable and accommodating!

The rooms are very small. Furnishings are cheaply done. Heater issues/ missing black out curtains. Probably will not stay there again.

Missing a top notch dining option

We expected cleaner rooms, more pillows, better AC unit. Shower was almost unmanageable. The supplied shampoo and conditioner were unable to be used ( same as body wash) sand on floor- we didn’t make it to the beach- the drinks were extremely over priced. Overall for a recently renovated hotel with high pricing/ we expected to feel like we were in an overpriced hotel/ and we didn’t. Felt a level below the Berkeley across the street.
