Good value hotel in central Bergen a two minute walk from the light railway from the airport. Excellent choice for one night stay before starting a Havila cruise. Breakfast was outstanding.

Very comfy room with ample space. We did have some problems but they were very quick to fix them! We enjoyed our stay here and the beds were comfortable. Great location to the train station, too! The staff were very nice.

The breakfast was not perfect.
Kids normally like the croissant, muffin and cakes with Nutella or something like that. But the breakfast did not have the mentioned items in one of two days that we stayed there!

Great location, hotel is close to all major transport links. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathroom had some loose tiles on the walls. It was extremely noisy, and the staff were disappointing and althougu they were not rude, they lacked friendliness which is essential for a solo traveller. More information in the rooms would have been a good bonus as staff were not forthcoming. Finding facilties in the hotel was harder than it needed to be.

The room is clean and big enough for 2 people. Location is good. Take a 45 minutes Light Train from Airport to Hotel (Nor $44 each Adult). Close to popular attractions like Bryggen, Fløibanen Funicular and the famous Fish Market etc.

Upon arrival wasnt told they only clean the rooms every 3 days. So throughout the stay our room wasn't cleaned!
Staff were great, breakfast quality was disappointing.
You can't order any food or drink past 10pm. So when we arrived at 1030 nothing was available.
The rooms are much smaller than pictures on website & expedia.
Satisfactory experience, would stay again.

The room was small with nowhere to store items. We we're unable to turn the heating down so the room was very hot at night, it was too loud to leave the window open at night. The breakfast was good and the location was great. We stayed 3 nights and the room wasn't cleaned once

It was a joyful stay at Zander K. Area tourist attractions are within walking distance.
We need to wait for our cruise check in at 4pm. Hotel only charged NOK50 per hour for late check out.
Highly recommended.

We loved the Zander K Hotel. Nice room, lovely friendly and very helpful staff, great restaurant and it's very close to station, buses, light rail and the city centre. We couldn't have found better :-)

Staying itself was perfect. But, I can't say the staff was excellent. When I stayed here, the fire alarm rang early mourning. Everyone tried to evacuate, but hotel staff did nothing. They didn't lead evacuation and explain the situation to the guests. I could not believe it. I hope the hotel will train the staff in case of the happening.

It is a nice, cozy hotel right next to the train station. Friendly staff, I’m very welcoming, and an excellent array of breakfast was provided with the reservation. Many western favorites or normal European favorites for breakfast, including some Norwegian fair to include pickled herring in three varieties also some liver pate.
I would say this is very convenient, quant and cozy hotel.

Great stay - excellent included breakfast buffet. Rooms comfortable - but they if multi day stay, they do not service the rooms - if your trash if full, you are expected to bring the bag to reception. Not a reason, not to stay - but something that you might want to be aware of.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot for both travellers with cars as well as people travelling by train as the train station was across the street from the hotel. It is also located a short 10 minute walk from the centre. The buffet breakfast was really good as well.

Good hotel. Central to transport and main sites all walkable. Good size triple room and great shower. Good breakfast though can be busy with big tour groups so not a relaxing experience. Minor disappointment with coffee/drink provision in reception and at breakfast. Poorer than most other places we stayed in Norway. Only plain coffee and tea and only 1 machine which during breakfast isnt adequate.
