Pros: Property is similar to Quest. Quiet gated village. Walking distance to Coles.
Cons: Guys not telling the truth. If I did not involve the hotels.com the guy told me they don’t have available room to transfer me because of their major floor maintenance. Dust is all over the place so I demanded to move to another room so I decided to cancel my stay and refund but suddenly they have room and they move me so quick.

We stayed for a week while our boat was being antifouled at the Gold Coast City Marina yard as it is only a short drive away. The unit was brand new and well set up with everthing we needed. ( the furniture was a wee bit spartan but served its purpose!)

I loved the place. comfortable, clean, helpful staff. central location, walk to coles and restaurants in 8 mins or 4 min drive. Not as noisy as Surfers and location was perfect for my needs. stayed 3 nights.

Great location, short walk to local restaurants, Boardwalk Tavern & Supermarket. We enjoyed eating @ the Tavern, great service Patio overlooking Marina.
Had 1 Bedroom Apartment that was not very inviting. Very Dark inside with noticeable cobwebs around sliding doors & Windows & No flyscreens.
Gated Entry & Security for underground Carpark was good, however was unable to lock room windows & Patio doors from inside as Keys did not work. There was a lot of traffic noise from busy road as room backed onto it. Sanctuary Cove Village short drive away way worth the visit, nice relaxing vibe on the Marina.

Overall it wasnt bad but when i booked it was confusing on what room i got because all the lictures were the same i mean it was an added bonus for me rather then it sleeping 3 it slept 6 but to find the pool and to find the admin office it was very poor there were no signs to say were the pool was or maps to find it and the staff were helpfull but not helpfull enough EG drew us a map for the pool but kept the map instead of letting us use it

The area was beautiful. A lovely spot near the lake amongst very nice houses and people. A short walk to the local supermarket, very quiet and safe.
Strange check in though.......If you didn't have a car this would be very inconvenient for someone coming in a taxi to go so far from one complex to another to check in. Text communication was really good but some of the housekeeping staff couldn't speak English.
The lift wasn't working which was very inconvenient for a lot of people in the complex as they where all elderly people and had to walk up 2 flights of 9 stairs for each floor level with all your luggage, Not good if you're staying on level 1 or 2 from the basement/carpark.

There was a putrid smell on first floor when existing lift - garbage Shute does not close properly letting smell into the area.
Unit needs maintenance shelf in shower almost falling off, towel rail falling off.
Garbage outside in large waste bins overflowing and smelly.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Apartment itself was pretty good but it backed on to the main road and it is very noisy at night time with all the traffic. I could not believe the windows and doors were not double glazed which would block a lot more noise out. It is a fantastic location and the gated community was really nice. Short walk to the Coles and the local tavern.
Such a shame some thought wasn’t put into minimising the road noise.

Good location and layout. Small items in the apartment need to be fixed / replaced ( knobs on fan switches missing, toilet roll holders in upstairs bathrooms, cushion on outside hanging chair ).
Could not access the WiFi. TV was not a smart TV, and could not watch most of the digital channels. Toilet in ensuite bathroom wouldn’t flush most of the time. Fridge didn’t get very cold. Overall cleanliness was OK, but could do with a decent bond clean to bring it back up to scratch.

rabbits warren to find, sheets smelled of sweat? no batteries in fan to turn on, lamp next to bed but no power point to turn on, dirty glasses, smelly cushions in lounge, no screens on doors to open for fresh air... awful stay

Location was very convenient for us. Assistance from admin was excellent. Unit was spacious and comfortable. The only criticism I have is that the cushion on the courtyard swing chair was damaged with the stuffing coming out in several places and no wi-fi access.

We had a 2 week stay in the 3 Br Townhouse which was perfect size for our party. Check in was done via the office and check out was simply leaving the keys in the provided box.
The facilities were good - although it wasn't clear on how to turn the oven on ... we eventually figured out the switch was on the powerpoint near the stovetop.
Don't expect much from the TV - it's cheap trash and the website indicated that the unit had a DVD player but it didn't. If you're relying on these to enjoy your holiday, you're probably missing the point. Our unit also had access to WiFi which was great.
Same as a lot of other reviews, the beds are incredibly soft and the pillows very thin - bring your own if you're in a position to do so.
The unit didn't have a broom to be able to sweep the living room area - called the office and they arranged for a vacuum cleaner to be left for us.
The few gripes were minor in regards to the overall experience.
Great value for money and the location was central to everything we needed. We felt very safe within the gated community. Thanks Peninsula - we'd happily come back if we need this size property again.

Worst booking i have done apartment wasn’t really clean a lot should be done about cleanliness and also had no supplies to start off with. How can the apartment have no spare rubbish plastics even dishwashing liquid not even a $2 salt 😂😂. Actually gave me doubts if the bed sheets were clean.
To make matters worse TV wasn’t working requested for a replacement and was promised one but had to contend with a broken TV all weekend.
The only plus was that Coles is within walking distance other than that booking elsewhere would have been better.

The property kept in touch with me regarding check ins and were very helpful. The townhouse was big, quiet and modern. There was very easy access to the supermarket and I felt very safe in the gated community.

Room was facing road, main bedroom has balcony and big window facing a very noisy road. At night some sport cars and motorcycles racing and you just can sleep. Room was clean however smelled bad of chemicals made me very chesty. Lady on reception was very rude and not helpful. They switch phone after 5pm and if you need anything you will only get reply next morning. Also there are lots of new development around and construction starts at 7am, not peaceful at all. Would not recommend at all.

Property itself is good and new condition, however the furniture could use and upgrade, bed frame was incredibly noisy. Loud roadside too. Hosts were helpful and explained everything well.

Apartment was clean and tidy. But the House phone (Intercom) never worked. I had to drive to the gate to open it for my visitors. Maintenance or management wasn't aware of this. Uber eats guy had to call security to open the gate.
Maintenance Guy came to fix the Intercom issue but couldn't. *****Five Stars for his visit within few minutes!
Apartment was next to the main road and was noisy (no double-glazed windows), broke my sleep around 5.30am every morning. I don't recommend apartment 5228 Harbourview Drive.
