We just had our 2nd stay at Lily Bay Lodge. It has become a family favorite. Kayaking on the lake, long walks on the beach and listening to the waves at night. The host has always been great and still has a very generous gift basket with fantastic salmon.

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. What made this property stand out was the hospitality. The owner checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond by bringing over some freshly caught salmon, which we grilled for dinner. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch.Despite some rain, our group spent much of our time enjoying the outdoor spaces. The screened porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee and the patio gave us a great space for evening conversation and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. We also took advantage of the kayaks and wetsuits, which made it easy and fun to get out on the water.Tip: bring ingredients for a few meals at the house. Between the outdoor spaces, the water access, and the fire pit, you may find yourselves wanting to spend more time at the property and less time running around Door County.The property was comfortable, peaceful, and a great place for our family to spend time together. Spacious, well-laid out home with perks throughout- kayaks, fireplace, fire pit, wet suits and sand toys. Wonderful view and a sandy beach that goes on and on in both directions. Gracious host left a basket of goodies and brought us fresh salmon that we cooked on the gas grill. Great space for a family. There were 7 of us including 2 little ones and there were plenty of spaces to spread out. Some reading niches too. Would definitely recommend this place! We hope to be back.
