The home was cute and cozy very nicely set up for dogs. The yard was nice as well, the ducks were too cute. The neighbor was outstanding, very friendly and welcoming. Overall was a nice weekend.

We enjoyed our stay. Sat on the Dock several times,watched the moon go up and the sun come down.
Caught a few turtles while fishing.Hiked the trails in the Dreher Island State Park.
Had a nice meal at Catch 22.
Grilled out a few times..
Looking forward to returning once the renovation is completed.

The whole process and communication with Jon was wonderful. He is very responsive and quick with getting back to messages, great host!! We came all the way from Wisconsin, as my son had graduated from Fort Jackson Army boot camp. About a 41 minute commute to the base. Would definitely stay again. The lake view is amazing, its quiet, the neighbors are very nice. I rated the cleanliness 3 stars, only because they are in the process of some renovations, so some dust is to be expected. Other than that, everything else was outstanding!! The host literally thought of everything that one may need to enjoy all the amenities. Fishing poles and tackle, kayaks, gear, it was an amazing stay, and would recommend if anyone is thinking about staying, just book it. Thank you Jon for a great stay!!

The Quack Shack was so cozy and had everything we could need and more! Perfect weekend away - we brought a boat & the ramp was close, dock was great! Dog friendly, loved the fenced in yard! Some friends and their children visited us while we were there - great for them as well!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great space with great views. We had a storm our last night and lost power, however the property manager was easy to contact and even gave us extra time for checking out! Really the only down side was the cobwebs and some bugs! Overall a great place!!!

This place has everything you need from kitchen stuff, bathroom needs, tv, beach towels, kayak, swimming, indoor games and outdoor games and probably things I haven't mentioned. I'm a senior citizen but I'm sure kids would have a blast.

Everything about this property is as wonderful as it is described! The kayaks and just being on the lake were the highlight for us! My children, 11, 8, and 6, all declared it “The Best Vacation Ever!” and my husband and I agree!

We had a wonderful stay at the quack shack! We will definitely go back & would recommend it. It is stocked very well so you can just show up and enjoy! The beds are comfortable, the cabin is adorable and a great waterfront dock to play on.

This place was absolutely amazing. This was the first vacation that I was able to completely unwind, even with children and a dog! Our dog could not get enough of the lake. It was almost like the vacation was booked just for him!
The host was great too! Very quick with communication and even checked on us when it kept raining, just to be sure we were good.
I cannot wait to go back again. All you need is a chair, fishing pole and some music and you too will feel like this place is meant for you.

Took a little trip with my boys for a few days and rented a boat. Getting to know the lake since we are building there soon. The kayaks were nice in the small cove for my boys to actually learn how to kayak. Small but cozy. Great lot for our dog with fence. I felt comfortable letting her out. We will certainly stay again. Have a few new great memories.

The Quack Shack is a wonderful lakeside cabin that offers great amenities, views and a wonderful dock. The yard is fully fenced on the parking side and is fenced into the water on the lake side so it is a great setup for dogs. Everything you could need is in this cabin and more. Had a great time on the new dock and the peaceful cove is a dream come true.

First time visiting this area. House was quaint and had everything we needed. Was nice to bring dogs, but front yard did not provide much area for them to roam, as house sits very close to the water. Although yard is fenced, back portion of yard is all dirt. Was decent price and nice location on the water.

We had a wonderful time ! Me & my gf came for a mini vacation get away we brought our dog also and this place is amazing we got to kayak and swim, play corn hole and also spend a night next to the fire pit and grill out ! This was the best relaxing and quiet get away for us & my fur baby. ♥️

My family of 5 stayed for the weekend and it was better than any normal hotel. The access to the lake with the available kayaks were a big hit. The location was a little off the beaten path but expected for a lake house. If you don’t like spiders then be warned…there are a lot of webs!!

This is a cozy cabin with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, and feeding the ducks. We weren't able to use the outdoor fire pit since the water was too high, but were still able to make some smores indoors. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, as well as seasonings. Would love to come back!

The beds were really comfortable and our little cockapoo had a blast running around the large yard that is fenced in. All the neighbors were super friendly, close to grocery stores, and all in all we were so glad to find this place, we didn’t want to leave! Jon was extremely helpful with recommendations and instructions, responded right away. Great place thanks!

Very peaceful, quiet and cozy. Everything you need to cook a meal, home was decorated super cute! Everything was nice and clean. Bed was comfy, shower hot. Perfect destination to check out the lake and relax!

Rented this house for our son and daughter-in-law for their honeymoon. They enjoyed relaxing by the lake and watching the resident ducks. They said the home was fabulous and had everything they needed for a weekend away. Highly recommended!

Just what we expected -A quaint little cabin right on Lake Murray-We enjoyed the kayaks, the dock and the fire ring. Our dogs enjoyed dock jumping and swimming while we enjoyed the fenced yard! Well furnished, clean and very comfortable! We hope to visit again!!

A perfect place to spend a couple of days on the lake. It's in a quite cove with a nice floating dock. Feeding the pet ducks was a cool experience.
Luckily the hosts are only a few mins away. We locked the keys in the house and they unlocked it for us in 10 mins.
