Great place to stay and enjoy the scenery and walk out to the bay.

What a beautiful very private location! No immediate neighbors, so quiet! The rental was clean and well appointed. Check-in was easy. We had one question when we arrived and received a prompt response. Very kid friendly. We had our 8yr old grandson with us and he loved the trampoline, soccer balls, closet full of toys and games, the bunk bed and of course exploring the large private beach. We would definitely visit again!

We had a great long weekend here despite the looming threat of a hurricane turned tropical storm. The area is beautiful and the house is clean, modern and well equipped. We spent the Tropical Storm morning watching the DVDs (any movie you can imagine was in there!) followed by hours of board games and some rainy walks around the beautiful property after we lost power. Kevin communicated to us throughout the expected power outage. We did a drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia pre and post storm as well. Hope to be back on a weekend without such eventful weather!

The property is nice and secluded with beautiful views of the bay. The sunsets were absolutely fabulous didn’t even have to leave the property. The house was very clean and comfortable. Acadia is not too far and there is plenty of activities to do nearby including hiking, swimming, kayaking etc. We will definitely be returning again

What a nice stay! We had a lot of fun digging for clams, exploring the shore during low tide, observing all sorts of life, and the isolation! We saw one fishing boat during our week stay so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. We did not get to kayak but they were there. Next time! The added bonus was picking black raspberries for our waffles!
The house is well stocked and space for everyone. Like other said, prepare for mosquitos outside. Beds were comfortable and plenty of entertainment choices if you want to relax.
It is a bit further away from the major places so we needed to plan accordingly. There are some local places to shop and eat that we tried. The Winter Harbor Co-op is a definite! For any gluten free needs, Dunbars has limited options but they are there! The closer to Bar Harbor and you get more options.
Kevin was great with communication and gave suggestions. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation and beautiful sunsets, this hits the spot.

I have been renting cottages for many years in the steuben -milbridge area and this cottage ranks as one of best. Easy access to the bay and having access to kayaks a plus.

Highly recommend this home and properly. We had a fabulous time. The location was perfect for exploring Down East Maine, Acadia, Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor. The sunsets at the house were epic. We had 3 beautiful dear visit us during our morning coffee. We had all the modern amenities you could ask for. We had an awesome local lobster roll . Delicious! Highly recommend this home and location. Fabulous Hosts!

The property is absolutely lovely! It is close to Winter Harbor and about 45 minutes to 1 hour from Acadia/Bar Harbor. Everything was clean and comfortable. The views were outstanding. The host Kevin was accommodating and responsive. Perfect lodging for the perfect trip!

Great vacation house on the water. Very quiet and peaceful. Very nicely furnished with everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved having the kayaks to use too! Would stay here again as well as recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was very clean and the kitchen amenities were everything we needed. Any questions I had, Kevin responded to my messages very quickly. Great views, we enjoyed kayaking and seen an eagles nest across the way. Took the puffin tour in bar harbor, went hiking on some trails in Acadia. Simply beautiful! A great vacation! Thank you!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at this clean and quiet retreat. If you’re looking for a restful place that allows you to enjoy all that this part of the world has to offer, this is the place for you!

Close to Acadia, and nany other hidden treasures close by. The host, Kevin, was very accommodating and communicated well. We hope to stay again!

The house was perfect . Plenty of room for 5 . The amenities were everything you could need. The locations was close to Winter Harbor ( the location we wanted to check out) we drove two hours north and south and covered a lot of Maines coast. We saw lighthouses , ate lobster and other fresh seafood, kayaked , hiked, took a lobster boat tour, shopped, drove through Acadia . Great location for beautiful water views and star gazing. Peaceful. Clean. Home away from home.
