What an amazing place to stay. We arrived on a very cold afternoon. They floor lamps were on and the house was warm, the ambiance of the house was beautiful. The kids nearly lost their minds when they saw the bunk beds and all the stuffed toys, games and books for them to use.
Everything we needed and more was provided. We highly recommend and will definitely book again for our next trip to Katoomba.

We went mid winter so great to enter the property to it being pre-heated. Great size rooms with high ceiling and an amazing view of the mountains from a main bedroom. Whilst the kids bunk beds were a bit dated the kitchen was amazingly well stocked and everything easy to operate including the house heating. Great stay and 5 mins walk from the town centre

House was as expected and listed. Clean and warm. Nice little weekend stay. Fully stocked kitchen, however shower was not up to standards

Our family spent a beautiful weekend at Idlehour. It was perfect for us, with an open fire and good size lounge room for us all to gather and play games. The house is gorgeous and very cosy with everything you could need and in walking distance to Katoomba’s Main Street, even for a 9 year old. We loved it!

The property is in a go location nice and quite and lovely views. The house was not clean and tidy the dryer was not working spoke to agent and when we left it was still not fixed very hard when it rained every day and 4 adults drying towels. The property could be really beautiful just needs a lot of TLC . We left the property very clean and tidy . It was such a shame as my son had been waiting for 2 years to go this property and he was disappointed . But overall not good value for the money.
And very disappointed with the agent I have sent quite a few text messages and emails and NO reply

We did not want to leave. It was so peaceful. The kids loved the back yard and all the toys and games. Very clean and spacious. This lovely home had everything we needed. Short walk to Katoomba main street.

House has everything you want. A bit of that old house charm, conveniently located to town.

We had a great weekend and would definitely stay again. The house is spacious with lots of period character and is an easy walk to town. The property manager was great to deal with and fixed a minor issue with the air conditioning very quickly.
