Beautiful lakeside location, offering a swimming pool and access to the lake. Sumptuous breakfast, served outside if wished. Very friendly and helpful staff. Though there isn't a restaurant service in the evening, you can order substantial 'snacks' from the bar until 7.30.
The hotel could do with brushing up on its environmental credentials: towels and pillow cases were changed daily and bedding every other day - very luxurious, but not good for the planet!

Everything. The staff, the food, the facilities, the garden, the pool were all amazing. The views, especially from our balcony and the balcony by the lake, were mesmerising. Holiday of a lifetime!
The bed was too hard for my liking however, this is the only thing I could think of that wasn't perfect.

Breakfast was good. Garden was beautiful. View from Superior garden room was amazing.
Tired decor, worn carpets, dirty walls. Duck poo everywhere in the garden. Wear flip flops!
Wi-Fi did not extend to our room. Despite many complaints they made no effort to rectify.

Rooms need a further small upgrades. Air con was not working very well. Reception staff could be more pro-active.

I found the black mold in my bathroom, room 203, there was the same mold availble on curtains. Due to fully booked hotel any room changes were not available. It was not possible to lock the door from inside due to the rusty locks, it was quite hard to open the door with the key due to the rust inside the lock. You can expect much higher level from the hotel you need to spend around 300 EUR per room per night.

The staff were great and the place was well kept.
The rooms were very basic and dated, considering the cost and the fact that it's listed as a 4 star property.

The stuff were great.. my daughter turned one year old while we were there
everyone in the morning wished her Happy Birthday and even got here a surprised crepe :) the hotel is clean, close to restaurants and the stuff is lovely and very helpful
