The front desk staff was fantastic. Very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean as it usually is. The only downside was the neighbour who slammed their door very early in the morning. Not the hotels fault.

The staff was very friendly and the customer service was excellent. However, we had to change rooms upon arrival because the first room smelled like hockey equipment. In the second room, we were placed beside a family with a crying baby who cried continuously. Lol

what was unique about it was how nice the top floor is, so much space and room for everyone to stay in. what i didnt like was about the staff, the one worker was giving me a hard time from the jump as i checked in, on the way to the hotel

Getting around city from this location was ideal. Children’s facilities such as pool and play structure was ideal.

First time staying here. Room was pretty clean, very noisy though with being on a busy street. Pool area was okay, the jungle gym area was a hit though.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this hotel was. I gave cleanliness a 4 simply because the hot tub was foamy which speaks of bacteria. Pool was a great temperature for kids to enjoy playing.

Our room was very nice, clean and modern. Kids loved the pirate play palace and pool. Parking lot outside is small, but the underground parking had plenty of spaces and easy access to the elevator.

We stayed in a suite and the rooms are great and very spacious.
The grandkids love the pool and especially the play structure.
The price for the room was reasonable
We will definitely be bakc next year for Christmas again

We booked 1 night here during Christmas holidays and it was such a great idea! We will now make it an annual tradition. What a perfect place for a staycation to get away from the busy holidays season with lots to do with family. Our children had a lot of fun in the play area & pool. Great dining options, kids eat free! A lot of friends asked me where we stayed & are now considering staying at Holiday Inn Portage West- booking very soon actually!

GREAT location for families. Our daughters played so hard, they crashed at the end of each evening. Restaurant was quick and staff were friendly…the fish tanks in the elevators were a huge hit!

Nobody cleaned my room. They were supposed to clean it daily so that when you come back in your hotel it's all tidied up, fresh new towels are available and your bed and the whole room is just ready for relaxation. I called and complained and said that a manager will call me but nobody did. Not at all impressed!!

We really like this hotel. We got the king suite for a weekend. It was very nice with lots of room for activities. It would of gotten a 5 star if it hadn't been falsely advertised as soundproofed. It was far from it. We could hear everything and im sure they could hear us.

The cleaning staff on the 5th floor were very hard workers and always were smiling and willing to help in any way. They are to be commended for their hard work.
