Very friendly staff. Room was large and well maintained. Hotel is very clean and quiet. Places to eat nearby and Safeway Supermarket next door.

This hotel was awful the room we were given smelled so strong of cigarettes that I had an instant headache. We called down for blankets for the pull out couch and the front desk brought it up and I wants her to smell it and she said “yes sorry they even tried to paint the bathroom to get rid of the smell, sorry you got here late and this was the last room” Are you kidding me I got a room to sleep 4 with a pull out for my grandson.
There were cigarette burn marks on the counter top in bathroom. I made the comment when leaving about how terrible the room smelled and that I should charge the hotel $250 for smoking in the room I was forced to stay at (it was almost 11pm when we got there and didn’t have time or money to find a different place to stay) the response was “we didn’t even get to charge the person who did it so that’s our loss” Are you kidding me I couldn’t even shower because I couldn’t close the bathroom door because of the smell. When I mentioned the smell the reaction from employees was oh you were in room 320.
I left my phone number and my husbands number for the owner to call me since it was Saturday and she wouldn’t be on until Monday. Well it is currently Thursday and still no call. Why rent this room if you and all your employees know how bad the smell is. Bad business for sure

The room was fine. The problem with our stay was the guest above us. They paced back and forth from 11 pm to 3:30 am. I complained to the front desk in person at 2:15 and experienced inadequate relief from the situation. I received a $20 discount from the manager the next morning. Although she was nice about it, this is an unsatisfactory outcome to what should have been a no-event one night stay. Not staying again.

First time sitting on the toilet I see black hairs about 1 and 1/2" long. I pick one up and it is coarse. So someone had a dog in the room. But why wasn't the bathroom floor cleaned?

The room had a strange order and some work could be done in the bathroom. Sink and mirror where original I think. Beds are great though. Wonderful staff.

I got there and they didn’t have my reservation had to wait for several phone calls to be done. Then found out the pool was closed due to there being vomit in it. This was the whole reason for our stay. Asked due to that for a refund to go stay somewhere else was told I wouldn’t hear about it for 3 days cause the person that could approve it was not there. It’s been over a week and nothing.

The beds were horrible! Worst mattress i have ever slept on and could hardly walk the next day. Kids screaming and running in the hall ways until late at night, dogs barking in the room under us. I have stayed here every year for squatchfest for the past 6 years and has gone down hill the past 3 years. Will never stay here again

There was one thing i did like is that swimming pool could have stay open longer, my husband and I was trying to get in the hot tub tell that we could use it and be very rude about it, there we no adults with them, we left, yell at us to get out. other than that, it was a very. nice stay and they do welcome cats. we were very happy about that.

It was very clean. Do t expect much from 2 star hotels, but I would stay here again.

Our room was fine and the customer service was great. Not so good was hearing children running up and down the halls when you are trying to sleep at night made it hard to rest. The walls are very thin, so you also hear other things in the morning you wish you didn't.

As a whole the stay was fine - but… let’s learn how to clean the bathroom floor - especially the corners.

The whole place needs to be remodeled. Very old outdated furniture. The seat in the accessible shower had a bolt on the ground under it so it seemed pretty unsafe. In the morning I went out to my car and there was a man pooping under the tree right next to the building. That also seemed a bit unsafe. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Adjacent rooms can be noisy at times since there is no carpeting. Overall a clean place to stay and comfortable beds.

Stay was overall very nice, the fountain was great. I would recommend that because it’s a hotel and that is where people go to sleep wether it be one night or 2 weeks that the beds would be top priority for any hotel. This was a nice hotel for the price but my husband and I had a rough night on the mattress that was saggy and what I would call “pitted” in the middle, yea it was a rough night and rough the next day with back stiffness that was no fun.

Comfortable, clean, hotel shows a little age in small cracks, but is well maintained: new caulking in the bathroom, repairs done on chips in the tub. Shower head could have used som TLC. This place was recommended by family who had stayed there. Breakfast was a little light, but par for the course in this economic environment and for the size of the property. Loved the waterfall wall in the lobby. Wonderful stay for my wife’s birthday.

This was our first time in the state of Washington and in this area. We stayed at the Guest House for six days. The hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are good size, quiet, and includes coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast is very good and includes eggs, sausages, waffles, cereal, and the normal continental breakfast items. The hotel is next to a Safeway and Target which is very convenient to pick up groceries, water, snacks, etc. The only issue is the cleaning staff needs to improve some. Two days our room was not clean when we got back around 3:00pm. Luckily one cleaning staff employee was still at the property and did clean our room. Also, almost every day some item (skin soap, shower soap, hair shampoo, plastic cups, room coffee and coffee supplies, etc.) was not replenished after cleaning the room. One day only one trash can was emptied. Other than that, the Guest House is a nice place to stay in Kelso.
