house is beautiful. Sandy is an excellent host and made sure everything was just perfect. everything is very nice and location is perfect for site seeing the area

WIFI is very weak which is fine if you have done all research before and can just switch off when you're there.

We deliberately chose Domaine Calmel and Joseph because it was out in the country, but not too far from a town, and had a beautiful setting being a winery. We weren’t disappointed on our arrival. We did daily excursions; (1) 7 minutes to Trebes a quaint little town worth a visit and also a decent supermarket. (2) 1 hour bike ride along the Canal du Midi from Trebes to Carcassonne. A 2 hour return ride excluding our time sightseeing there. (3) Exploratory drive around the back country roads through forested hills and tiny villages ... just brilliant. Then returning home in the evening to this peaceful rustic place was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was great for my wife and I. We cooked our own meals every night and did our own laundry (common laundry facilities). Wifi worked great even though we were out in the country.

This will sound very trivial but not having soap provided in the bathroom.

Our apartment was up stairs. Would have been nice to have a patio to walk straight onto but otherwise lovely place.

We loved the gites...very French! The place was very quiet until early morning when machinery started up on the farm! The pool was great on both the cooler days and when the sun was too hot to endure outdoor swimming. Sandy and everyone we met was very friendly.

The roadway into the property needs attention...full of potholes! Few extra utensils needed which I have mentioned to Sandy.
