The location is excellent. Very nice house with parking. Bedrooms large with plenty of storage. Bathrooms and kitchen very modern. When we had a problem with heating, it was sorted quickly.
The fishy smell in the hallway that never went away. The very dilapidated sofas (definitely need replacing). The mattress and pillow protectors need at least washing or best replacing. Small lounge area. Missing or broken radiator valves. Upstairs Velux windows need blinds.

Space, location, parking
We had no working washing machine, no working hob, the power cut out several times. It was difficult to get through to anyone. We purchased food to cook on the hob, then found it wasn't working. Quite a lot of money, paid up front and nonrefundable but we didn't have important facilities working. A small oven/2 ring cooker was provided, but we couldn't get it working.

Lovely location
Hole in settee stains on carpet on stairs broken window blinds broken radiator thermostats red stain on pillow and 3 of the duvets had stains broken floor tiles in kitchen, public hairs in down stairs toilet floor and stains on back of toilet lid fitting. Cannot believe that owners have such a beautiful location and the interior a disappointment last but not least settee had it feet taken of so if you have bad back your nearly on the floor an so lumoy and uncomfortable say can accommodate 8 only 6 dining chairs one which was cracked and if there was eight sitting on that settees you'd have to be very friendly.

location excellent for local services, parking in town lots of double yellow lines that most people ignored. no bottle recycling in village in view of number of rental houses this is surprising and a bit irritating.

Heating was not working down stairs, and ni tiles around bath / sink ment paint had flaked off

The property was spacious and well appointed and warm. Once we parked the car we could enjoy the many walks from the proprty itself. It was close to local amenities eg shops, pubs, places to eat
Property had paint peeling around patio doors in downstairs bedroom - possibly damp. Worn paint at back of bath and sinks in main bedroom's en-suite. Generally just a lack of finish in what was an otherwise nice property. Toilet roll holders also loose and mould evident between shower and toilet/sinks.
Would have expected dishwasher tablets to be available and a dishcloth to wipe surfaces. Settee upholstery torn
