Beautiful cozy cottage, sunning views and very comfortable. Rob was very helpful and had everything we needed and more.

There was quiet a lot of dead bugs everywhere especially in the downstairs bathroom that we had to clean up on arrival but otherwise very clean.

Owner could be more responsive to correspondence. Told that we would need to bring our own bedding for sofa bed but when we arrived bedding had been provided

I thought the picturesque landscape was stunning. The view from every window was wonderful and there was a river close by. The nearest town was a five minute drive away and was very happy about there being a Domino’s. beds were comfortable and the kitchen was clean.

When it came to checking out a man entered the house while me and my partner were packing away our things. He complained that we needed to pay an extra £25 for our dog, on top of the amount I had already payed on booking.com. I explained to him that I was told the fee of one dog + one nights stay was £110. but I had already payed £220 for our two night stay. I tried to explain this to the owner, who told me that booking.com takes a fee from the amount I’ve payed so she doesn’t receive the full amount that I pay. To which I explained that by advertising on booking.com you must pay a small fee, and as a guest I am not required to pay for the amount that they have been deducted. I was then threatened that they would call the police and the man who came to the door took photos of my car registration plate. He argued that me not giving him the money in cash was “unsatisfactory” and that I should go to the bank and take the cash out for him. I decided that was not the best thing to do and we quickly gathered our things and left.

Relaxing and quiet but still within easy reach of towns and beach. Great views from patio and rooms. Hosts very welcoming and friendly.
