It was self catering
We were met by Jenna who took us through the apartment and explained how everything work .
Heather came by later to introduced herself
Every one was so welcoming and friendly.

Heather & Jenna the host were amazing. They had taken care of everything what one would think of for their guests., Very friendly and helpful all the time.
Before our arrival Heather ensured she sent all details about the apartment , the various shops, restaurants, places to visit , excursions etc everything in detailed to us. which came as quiet handy.
Water to drink, ample of inverter lights, a gas stove etc all came as a boon as you don't feel like there is any load shedding
There was a washing Machine inside the apartment, just as a courtesy they got our clothes tumble dry at their own house which was next door.
Infact the best thing about this place is it's located in a quiet surrounding very well secured and the host stay in the same premise in another house.
The balcony on the 1st floor with the living room is cherry on Pie, it's surrounded by trees and the view is of the backyard.
The tap water, or the shower water used to smell, as we discussed with Heather we were informed its the same across Kynsna as they have been facing draught since couple of years.

well equipped and peaceful with comfortable beds and no real impact due to load shedding. Had a good stay and was in perfect location close to town. Very secure.
Could do with blackout curtains in bedroom as security light really bright.

Airy kitchen and lounge with lovely outdoor deck. Lots of emergency lights and inverter for TV! very affordable. Beds were comfortable. Very peaceful neighbourhood.

Attention to detail for a comfortable stay was exceptional. Sipping coffee and wine on the deck among the trees, memorable.

Location was great. The place was clean and comfortable. We loved the deck on the first floor which is surrounded by trees and lots of greenery. Very tranquil and peaceful.
The only downside was that around the time we went to bed, a neighbouring dog began to bark. This lasted about 40 minutes and then stopped. It was not the sound of a dog alerting potential danger - but rather that of a dog finding itself alone and barking repetitively to express boredom or frustration. Fortunately it didn't last very long and we were able to have a peaceful sleep

Felt like home! complete with wonderful hosts, an inverter for loadshedding and lots of comfort and space!

Syringa Tree was the complete package. Tastefully furnished, comfortable accommodation with an eye for detail that really makes a difference. The experience was rounded off by Heather with her naturally friendly personality. Contact, check in and all round helpfullness was faultless.

Literaly everything! Attention paid to every little detail and possible need of a guest! Amazing stay
The staircase to the kitchen living area upstairs may be a bit of a challenge for some guests but it was not an issue for us.

The perfect location easy access to all the activities knysna has to offer. Great Host with wonderful service. Would recommend this place to everyone I know.
Loved everything. Our stay was just way to short will book at least a week for our next visit.

Very pleasant apartment, great smell, very equipped, gave us milk, jus, candies.... fresh flowers. Great deck sitting area outside (not in the afternoon, many little bugs). Best value for money in all of our stays. Very recommended
